Last Night we watched the movie NOPE, it has horses and creepy monsters in it.

Early this morning we woke up to our dogs barking aggressively. We looked up to see what the fuss was about. It took a minute to wake up and look outside only to see a scary monster looking in our window. Oh my heart stopped as I looked back at the scary monster. LOL 😂 I then realized one of our horses got out and was looking to see if we were up to give her breakfast yet.

I thought the monsters were here to get us. After the fear settled I had to laugh about this. Great timing silly horse. OMG...🙃😅
2 of the horses escaped from the pasture, what's new at the house? They knocked down a bird bath and put nose smears on the new windows. HORSES!!!😮😉

Nope is full of fun, freaky, thoughtful re-imaginings of the classic UFO movie loaded with creepy monsters, silly characters, and high-stakes action sequences.

Our mini horse named Lucky is enjoying his hay next to his best friend Shawnee. Lucky is the one you can only see his dark ears over the big hay bale. LOL 😂😅

We had a very interesting afternoon yesterday. Our high wind speed was 47 mph. and the tumbleweeds were moving fast. A wall of tumbleweeds lined up on our horse fence and the wind was blowing causing the horse fence to blow down. I was outside trying to keep horses in the smaller pasture with all the dust and winds it was hard to see. Only 1 horse out of 12, across the down fence. Guess I will be fixing the fence this morning.

Good Morning Colorado, The cold weather is here today. It's 20 degrees too cold to go outside yet.

If we hide behind this tree no one can see us and know we got out of the fence. Just stand still and blend. LOL 🤣
Tumbleweeds are causing an issue getting tangled up in the fence. We remove them and they come back. If anyone wants free tumbleweeds they are sitting here waiting for a new home. 👌

The tumbleweeds came out for a visit yesterday. They were stacked taller than some of our horses.

October 31, 2016 Luke and Feather are 2 beautiful horses at Andersen Acres.
Luke is Travis's special horse and Feather was raised here, her forever person is Sharlene Truax.

Day 2 of weaning the horses off of hay and on to pasture grass.

Yesterday I had to lead them out to the pasture. Today they were waiting for me to open, open, OPEN the gate.

They went out far from the barn. It's amazing how fast they learn can something when it's all about the food. LOL 😍🐎❤️ It's going to be a long walk back.

Checking on the horses in -6 degrees temp. with the wind chill at -24 degrees. (or is it a Star Wars character? 🥶

2/14/21 our high temperature was 1 degree and the low was -19 below with the wind chill at -33 degrees. Very cold and we have to check on the horses and the waters. Everyone is doing good.
