When Harley first appeared in the garage of one of our fosters, he was scared and rushed around wildly, pretending to be feral. Undeterred, our foster, a tough Brit who doesn’t stand for any nonsense, calmly dismantled the shelving in her garage to licate him and set a trap. Harley was duly trapped and taken to the vet where he was given a clean bill of health. Concerned he might be too wild to be adopted, I waited a few days to see if her attempts to tame him were successful. Fortunately he responded to her charms. His hisses were replaced by purrs and he would come running to see her whenever she entered the room then sit beside her while she drank her morning tea, gazing up at her lovingly while giving her little head nudges. I am now fostering this cutie and I am amazed at how relaxed he is. He thinks every cat should be his friend and he loves to nuzzle under my neck. He enjoys being carried around and always wants to be near me. He really is pretty perfect.
Harley will soon be available for adoption. Whoever adopts him will really have hit the jackpot!
