Willie is doing well after his heartworm treatment and he now has a few tricks to add to his resume. We are accepting applications for this handsome boy. He is pretty special!
Everyone who meets Cassie falls in love. She absolutely loves people and insists that any visitors to the house pet her. She wants all the love and attention and will make the cutest meow when she feels you still have some pets left to give! Cassie was rescued from a barn where she had apparently been living for a while after being dumped by her owners. We were told she was around 10 years old but we are pretty sure this is not the case as she acts like a 2 year old. Unlike my personal 10 year old cats, she is active and playful, enjoys wrestling with toy mice and playing with all the cat toys. She gets along well with other cats but would probably be perfectly content in a home as an only cat as long as her people are willing to share the sofa with her and give her lots of attention. BUTTERS
This is one happy pup having the time of his life in Co.
A POEM TO MY FOSTER DOG
I am the bridge
Between what was and what can be.
I am the pathway to a new life.
I am made of mush,
Because my heart melted when I saw you,
Matted and sore, limping, depressed,
Lonely, unwanted, afraid to love.
For one little time you are mine.
I will feed you with my own hand
I will love you with my whole heart
I will make you whole.
I am made of steel.
Because when the time comes,
When you are well, and sleek,
When your eyes shine,
And your tail wags with joy
Then comes the hard part.
I will let you go - not without a tear,
But without a regret.
For you are safe forever -
A new dog needs me now.

💙Mom and Pups
When a neighbor of Jil Launay contacted her and said she had rescued a stray who gave birth to 6 pups and couldn’t keep them anymore, Jill stepped up and said she would take them.
She contacted us to see if we could help and we found a foster for 2 pups then Jill said she would foster the remaining and the mom.
Unfortunately the one pup who went to the other foster broke out with Parvo the next day and rapidly declined and didn’t make it.
Jill quickly acted and took everyone else to be heartworm tested and Mom and one pup tested +.
Jil then had them all receive the antigen injection and now mom and all the pups are doing great as you can see in the video.
THANK YOU JIL for saving them!❤️

HAZE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!
🔔❤️ Adopt Jingle ❤️🔔
Jingle is an awesome 5 month old pup that has the most beautiful brindle coat and soft, warm eyes. He is good with dogs, cats and kids and loves everyone he meets! This sweetie was stuck in a rural country shelter and was so very thankful to be saved. He has been the best puppy with good manners. He hates missing out on the fun and will fall asleep sitting up when he gets tired. Jingle is doing amazing at potty and crate training. He will be approximately 65 lbs when grown. He likes to cuddle up with his doggie friends when he takes a nap, or better yet, with his people. He is very loving and will wait for his foster mom outside the shower each day. He has the perfect amount of energy. This guy would like to jingle all the way into his forever home for the holidays. Please come meet him! You will fall in love.
Jingle is being fostered in Southlake. This pup will be totally vetted. Please help us by sharing this post!

If you are looking for 2 sweet, bonded young cats, please consider these two sisters.
We were recently contacted by a concerned animal lover who was looking for support in trapping and vetting three cats who had been living outdoors in an industrial park. As we suspected they might be feral, the plan was to have them vetted and relocate them to a barn cat type situation. This was the first time the good Samaritan had fostered cats and she really did jump in at the deep end! She started off keeping them in large dog crates in a room in her house and slowly introduced them to indoor living. Three weeks later, she has fallen in love with them. They seem to be very content living indoors and are far less tense than they were when she first brought them in. All three have now been fixed, combo, tested, and vaccinated. Apple, Clementine and Peaches love one another and always sleep together in a big furry pile. They love canned food and it seems that this has been the key to winning them over. They are still not too enthusiastic about being picked up but they could absolutely be indoor cats for someone who understands that they have been through a lot and need time to come out of their shell.
