We went to deliver Lemon to her new forever family last week. (She’s featured in a picture by herself). Daisy, her sister, got to ride on the long drive with us. We expose our babies to all things “life and travel” as soon as possible to help in their transition with new family members. Well, all things except for grass, dirt and dog parks until they are fully vaccinated! Personally, we never do dog parks. That’s a hard pass for Poppy and babies, period. Until then, they use litter boxes and boy did they do a great job on this trip!
We made a side trip to Alabama to see my parents at the farm and the babies got to meet, Rosie. She’s a one year old Pyradoodle. She’s huge and had never been around baby puppies before. She loved them and is such a sweet dog. Anyway, back to this cute family, they had no idea they were getting Lemon and had recently lost their precious Coton, Charlotte. You will have to wait for the surprise video to see their reactions in a post coming soon.
