This is Captain. He’s a good boy he loves to get cuddles. He needs his own human with no other four-legged doggos in the 🏠. I am looking for a guardian home 🏡 for him close to the dfw area.

Through no fault of his own he came back to live with me briefly while I got him well and able to find his furever family.

He does have a few needs, but they are not expensive and I currently have insurance on him and I will continue his insurance through the remainder of his life.

Captain has IBD. But it is completely manage with diet and a couple of medication‘s one medication is over the counter and the other medication is through the vet but neither are expensive.

The food that he is required to eat, can be a bit pricey, but it’s not as expensive as taking him to the vet for diarrhea every week.
He’s currently eating turkey I/d and open farm turkey stew. With these modifications to his diet his poops are perfect nearly every day and he has zero gas.

He’s a very energetic dog, but he will sleep and cuddle all day if that’s what you want to do. He does get along with other dogs 75% of the time but he has his limits and when he gets to that limit he’s pretty vicious so that’s why I say he needs a family where he’s the only dog.
