Update #2: The best update ever! Emily let me know that Forrest will be coming home from the shelter this evening! Thank you everyone for your positivity and support these past few days! This will be quite the reunion!

Update: Forrest's condition has worsened to the point that he is being surrendered to rescue as a last effort to save his life. Please keep Emily and her much needed service dog in your thoughts. This is a very hard day.

Hello DreamWeaver family.

Remember Forrest and Emily? Forrest is Emily's service dog and a puppy from Aria and Lincoln's first litter together. Sadly this past week while Emily was hospitalized, Forrest was fed a cooked bone. After speaking to two vets and waiting to see if it would pass naturally, it has become clear that it will not pass on its own and he needs surgery.

As Emily is disabled and has no job, she has reached out to me to post and see if anyone can help save his life. Please comment or send me a PM and I will get you in contact with Emily if you would like to donate to his care.

Playing some fetch with Dahlia🥰

Sound on for this one! They tried puppy mash for the first time last night and LOVED it! A few of them quite literally 'dove' in😂 I feed the puppies Purina Pro Plan Puppy chicken and rice recipe. All of the adults eat the Sport formula and we have had no issues with the dog food. While I do recommend you keep your puppy on PPP, I know people have their own preferences. However, is absolutely essential for your golden to have grains in their diet. So whatever you choose, please avoid 'Grain-Free'.

The puppies are really moving now! Wednesday I will be moving them to a larger play area and introduce the litter pan, as well as toys and crates. Early exposure to common training tools is key to a smooth transition to their new families. Crates arent so scary when they've always had access to them! Also, they had their nails clipped for the first time on Saturday, no one fussed much over it at all! And Aria is happy their nails aren't so sharp anymore!

Cedric is doing really well with his leash and with 'sit'! These guys will do anything for a good treat. The best way to a golden's heart is through his belly! We like to use Bil Jac premium training treats, for small dogs. (The smaller treats allow longer training sessions😉) Also! Exciting news for this guy, he has found his home all the way in Minnesota! His people are making the trip to pick him up next week. I have a lot of cuddles to steal from him before he goes, and so little time!💕💕💕
