This one is a special one. Unfortunately, I messed up an opportunity on him in 2023, but fortunately, he was taken by a close friend in 2024. Such a beautiful cape on him made for a great mount!

The end of all of the 2024 work is here! Thank you to all of my customers for their patience this season. Managed to turn out 91 pieces with the longest wait time being about 9 1/2 months. Check out the old warrior with a broken jaw and fresh tear duct wound. Here's to a great upcoming 2025 season (that has already started off with a bang)!

Good luck to everyone who is heading out for opening day tomorrow! If you happen to get lucky, remember these warm temperatures are a recipe for disaster for taxidermy work. Get those hides caped out and into a refrigerator or cooler ASAP (while keeping it dry) and reach out to set up a time to drop your trophy off. If using a processor, let them know you intend to have your deer mounted and that you'd like to pick up your cape as soon as its available (even if they aren't done with the processing yet). Shoot straight!

We're less than one week from the start of the 2025 bow season! With that said, all 2024 work is together with the last 8 pieces currently drying. By the time they're finished, it will put the turnaround time under 10 months! Duck mounts from last year are already rolling in to get ahead of the deer rush, so if you have any birds you want done, now is the time to get in line. Here's a recently finished deer to get you in the mood for bow season!

Next group finished up and heading out the door! Down to the single digits now on deer with only a couple of ducks left as well. The shop will be closed from 8/22 until 9/1 for a family vacation and much needed break. Mounts can be picked up until 8/21 at 6pm so don't delay!

Just about halfway done with the shoulder mounts with this next group finished up. Plus a blue pheasant and WV black bear.

Good luck to all the youth turkey hunters tomorrow! With that said, this year, we will not be accepting turkeys for any mounts (lifesize, breast mounts, or fan mounts). This is due to the current workload in the shop, and it is the best option to be able to keep pace with all of last year's birds and deer. Sorry for any inconvenience!
