Spotlight 💡on Katelynn!!!🐱
You might not recognize her face yet, but once you receive her care, you will. Katelynn is our newest technician, and we love her! She graduated from International Business College.🎓 She has been a registered Vet Tech for 11 years now.🤩🐶She has been working with us for 5 months. Her favorite part of the job is "watching animals go through recovery when they were just in a critical care position." 💙
At home, Katelynn has 2 dogs, a cat, 2 rats, and 2 reptiles! That's a lot of pets!!🦎
We asked her if she would rather eat dog food or cat food for the rest of her life. She responded with, "I'd rather eat dog food for the rest of my life; there is a better assortment of options."
Can we get a huge welcome and thank you to this amazing, caring lady!!💙 Thank you, Katelynn, for your many years of love and care for pets! 🐱

These two have been working at the clinic for several years now. Behind the scenes, they have been working and studying like crazy to be Techs! Just one more test to go!!!🥳🥳🥳 We couldn't be more proud of both of you!!! Niki's favorite part of the job is learning new skills and putting them to use! Megan has been working with us for 12 years!! And Ashley has been with us for over 8 years! 🩵Both of these lovely ladies work hard to give your pets the best care possible! Megan’s favorite part of being a vet tech is working alongside great doctors who utilize my vet tech skills to provide the best care for the patients we serve. I love all aspects of vet med from assisting in surgery, taking radiographs, drawing lab samples, or assisting with client questions. 🐶Thank you ladies for being such amazing Techs and thank you for your many years of care!🐱🦎

🚨 Hunting Season Safety Reminder! 🚨
It’s that time of year again — hunting season is here! 🦌 While the cooler weather makes for perfect walks in the woods, it’s not always the safest time for your furry friends.
If you’re heading out for a hike or walk:
🦺 Keep pets on a leash and close to you at all times.
🧡 Dress your pets (and yourself!) in bright, reflective or neon gear — orange is best!
🚫 Avoid wooded or rural hunting areas when possible.
👂 Stay alert for gunshots and posted hunting signs.
Let’s keep all our four-legged friends safe while enjoying the great outdoors! ❤️🐾

Why do cats knock things off tables? 🐱

Because cats are natural scientists! 🧪 Every time they knock something off the table, they’re just re-testing the law of gravity—again… and again… and again.😹

Cats knock things over for many reasons.
🐱to get your attention
🪀because they are feeling playful
🐭it taps into their natural hunting and climbing instincts
Cats don’t deliberately knock things over to annoy you they do it out of instinct. Cats are predators and are made for hunting. 🐈 They may be small but they are mighty. The next time your cat knocks over your favorite mug find out why they did it. 🩵

☀️🔥 As the weather heats up, so does the risk of heat stroke in our furry friends! 🐶🐱

Pets can’t cool down the way we do, and they can quickly overheat in high temps — especially during walks, car rides, or outdoor playtime.

⚠️ Signs of heat stroke in pets:

-Heavy panting or drooling
-Lethargy or confusion
-Vomiting or collapse

🐾 Tips to keep them safe:

-Walk early morning or late evening
-Always provide fresh water
-Never leave pets in parked cars — even for a minute!
