Here are some of the first dogs of 2024 which also is the start of our 35th year in business. We are so appreciative of all the dogs and their parents who have supported our small business. Here is a recap of our 6 Saturdays of nail trim fundraising at the end of the 2023. Humane Society of Noble county $140, Kendallville Cares $200, Special Olympics $140, Black Pine $100, Dementia Society $100, Cancer Services $100. We love this commmnity that supports us and we are always looking for ways to give back to it. Stay tuned, we have some exciting ideas for our 35th year. We are always open to suggestions also.

Happy Holidays!! We hope everyone had a great Christmas. Our Christmas week was 6 full days of grooming, 141 dogs smelled and felt much better for family time. That’s 282 ears cleaned, 2538 nails trimmed and a whole lot of washing, conditioning, brushing, combing and cutting hair. The amazing girls that accomplished this stepped up and worked very long days in order to get that many dogs groomed. We love our furry customers and appreciate them so much. Now some very worn out groomers and bathing assistants are getting a much needed rest. We will be closed until January 2 for grooming and daycare, we are still doing boarding, and drop off and pickup is by appointment only this week. See everyone next year.

These sweet little Christmas cuties are here to announce that our last nail trim fundraiser tomorrow is for Cancer Services located in Ft Wayne. We’ve experienced their help with many close family and friends in our lives. Stop in tomorrow Dec 23 from 8-3 and get your dogs nails clipped before company comes for the Holidays.

Welcome to Evie Jane Karst, she was finally born on Monday Dec 18 at 11:25 pm, 7lb 12 oz. She’s so cute that we all forgive her for waiting a week past her due date to arrive. Alex and Evie are doing great and even stopped to see us on their way home yesterday. After checking all the comments on Facebook and Instagram our winners are William Forker for closest to date he had 18th at 8:40pm and Rachel Grimes who was spot on the weight with her guess. Stop in and get your treat jars.

Christmas crunch time, here’s a few we groomed today. We have only 2 grooming appointments left this week on Sat the 23rd for small dogs. We do have bath and nail trim openings every day this week if you want your dog to feel soft and smell yummy for Christmas. We also have a wait list for large dog grooming this week in case we get a cancellation.

SUPER CHEWER ALERT!!! Who has a destructive chewing machine for a dog? We’ve got you covered, stop in and see all the products we carry for dogs that like to chew. All have been tested by my dogs and they 100% approve of each one. We have Nyla bones, filled bones, Greenies, and cow ears. Christmas hours are Dec 18-23 from7am to 5pm each day.

Smiling Ace is happy to get his nails trimmed so they don’t make so much noise on the hardwood floors. This Saturday December 16, 8-12 we will be donating all the nail trim money to Dementia Society of America.

Christmas is coming and grooming appointments are filling up quick. If you have a dog that weighs over 40lbs and needs a complete groom we only have a couple openings left this week otherwise you are looking at 2nd week in January for an opening.

Would you rather have this hair all over your house or let us get it off here. Jax is here today getting a much needed grooming. He is currently getting some loose hair off before his bath. We use products geared toward loosening up the undercoat in the bath and then another session with the force dryer to blow the rest of the hair and water off of him. Then a good brushing, combing, ear cleaning and nail trim to finish up his groom. If you want to get your shedding dog in for a fall cleanup give us a call. 260-347-0307

Purple collar Girl learning some basic obedience. I think some of the most important things to teach a new puppy is to come when called and to sit and lay down on command. These could save your dogs life if they would start to chase something towards the road and you need them to come back. You can also make them sit and not jump on you or guests. Yes purple is still available.😊

Some much needed yard time for Goose and Lucy who are boarding this weekend. They are breaking in our new ICE student for the year. Hope Fleck wil be here afternoons to help bath and dry dogs and play with the daycare and boarding dogs and help with the cleaning. The rest of the dogs are calmly waiting their turn in the yard🤣😂🤣😂

Bedtime routine.

Standard Poodles puppies, our night time routine is lots of playtime and going to bed in their own crate for the night. This makes their transition to their new homes so much smoother as they are learning to be separated from each other which will help if their new owners want to crate train at night. Some will just put them in bed with them haha which is great too. We still have Brown boy and Purple girl available in this litter.

Standard Poodle puppies, 8 weeks old today. There are still 2 girls and a boy from this litter available. Watch for the post with their 8 week old pictures. I’ve heard great reports from yellow and pink collar girls who are in their new homes now.
