Hope everyone had a great Christmas and you’re looking forward to the new year! Wanted to take a minute to thank all my customers and supporters for the awesome year. I was nervous about going full time this last year but you guys turned this dream into a reality. Very thankful that God’s given me this opportunity to work in such a great career. I look forward to the upcoming year. You guys got my books filled up again so it’ll be a busy one but I’m still hoping to remain on track. I’ll continue to do nothing besides fish, shoulder mounts, and skulls. In doing so, I plan to keep producing high quality on those few services and reasonable turnaround. Thank you so much for trusting me with your trophies! Happy new year!

I’m sure some of you get sick of seeing this year after year, but just making sure it’s available for those that need it. Here’s the proper way to cape a deer for shoulder mount or spare cape. Also don’t throw away money this season! Bring mature bucks you’re not going to mount to me for cash or a discounted euro! Poorly caped deer will either be rejected or charged fees. I do cape for free so consider bringing the whole deer over if you’re unsure how to do it.

Beyond blessed today! What was just going to be a quick outing since my wife was passing by our hunting spot, turned into one of the best evenings ever. She dropped me off and it wasn’t but 15 minutes after getting in the stand and this guy came through! After watching him thrash a cedar 12 yards away at full draw, I was able to get two good shots in him since he stopped after the first. He didn’t make it 80 yards after that. Katie and the boys came right back to share the moment. Biggest 3x3 I’ve laid my hands on and got the share it with the whole family there. God is good!! Been a tough few deer seasons for me but this is one that makes it all worth it!

Ben’s been our star employee for quite some time now so we decided to give him the morning off due to the cold weather. He took advantage of it and stuck a nice one! Can’t wait to work on my own deer again as it’s been a while. Now it’s back to work!
