Good evening Northbound Pet family, this week we will be sharing updates on all our Angel Project Pups from this past year! We would like to start with our last pup to be adopted in 2024.
Miss Shasta!!! Here is an update from her new owners!

We adopted Shasta on 12.12.24, so we have had her for a little over a month now. She immediately imprinted on Donna and follows her around all day long, she is warming up to Guy and even gives him kisses at times. She is the sweetest little girl and very mellow. She does not play with toys but we have seen a few zoomies occur whenever she gets excited! She is a very good traveler and made the trip from North Dakota to Texas contently lying on Donna's lap. Shasta is very comfortable with RV living and has no fear of the small steps. When Guy leaves she is quick to take over his recliner. She has been meeting new little friends but is still very shy, she does a little sniff and will immediately run to Donna asking to be held! She is definitely a lap/hold me dog, which we don't mind at all. We have caught her smiling on multiple occasions! She is super intelligent and has a wonderful personality and we are always waiting to see what she will show us next! We are so blessed that Shasta is a part of our little family and look forward to making many years of memories together! (Here is a pic of her in Guy's the recliner)

These prices are baseline and subject to change.

Our reasons for the increase:
▪ Staying up-to-date with the industry
▪ Price of products, materials, equipment and maintenance have increased

We appreciate everyone's continued bussiness and understanding during this time. 🐾

These prices are baseline and subject to change.
All prices are determined by weight, condition of coat, temperament of pet and time needed to groom.
The price increases should range from about $5-$20 per pet. Some larger breed clients may be subject to more due to being undercharged in the past.

▪ Price of products, materials, equipment and maintenance have increased

We are excited to announce that Emma Larson is the winner of the Angel Project Fundraiser Basket!!!
We want to thank everyone who participated in this fundraiser and those who have supported our rescue project since the beginning of 2024!

This will be our last post of the year but we will catch you all on the 1st of 2025 we are so excited to see what the new year brings!

Now for our favorite part of the gift basket giveaway!!!
The winner will also get to take home this beautiful handmade jean quilt! It's our favorite not only for its uniqueness but also because it was handmade by one of our amazing clients who donated their time and materials! (It's so big it completely covers our couch and then some!) We are so very thankful to everyone who donated to fill the basket and to everyone who has participated to win the basket. We also wanted to put out a reminder we are also still doing our donation drive, all the supplies collected will be donated to shelters in the surrounding areas.

In honor of Thanksgiving we would like to thank everyone for their continuing support of our small business and our Angel project program! We would also like to let everyone know we will be running a donation drive until the end of 2024 if you have any animal supplies you'd like taken off your hands we will be distributing them to local rescues in need. Bringing your pooch by for a groom or board? Feel free to bring those donations with and we will add them to our box!

Some examples are
• Bowls
• Leashes/Collars/Harnesses
• Cat litter
• Dog and Cat food (must be sealed and in date)
• Blankets
• Towels

Today I got the chance to work on my first West Highland white Terrier, and I am personally pretty happy with it! Murphy was such a champ working with me as I learned how to groom this gorgeous boy and I feel so excited to add another breed to my list!!!

•LOOKING FOR A HOME•
ADOPTED 12.12.24!

Everyone meet Shasta, this gorgeous little girl is looking for a soft spot to land! She is 6 years old good with dogs, cats and kids. She is up to date on vaccinations and spayed! She would require regular grooming. She is being rehomed due to her owner having a few unexpected things happening in her life. Shasta is a very sweet pup who loves to cuddle and just hang out!

This isn't a TRICK cause we are all about the TREATS!We are so excited to announce that Dodge is officially ready to find his forever home! So if you are looking for a new BOO this Halloween come meet this handsome WEREWOLF!
(shhh don't tell him he's a dog)

Dodge is fully vaccinated, neutered and chipped, he is an amazing pup who loves the busy life but he can totally just curl up and chill on the couch too. He also gets to take everything he has with him. He has a kennel, dog bowls + a dog bowl stand, a food storage container, food, toys and a to-go bag! He is a dream on the leash and loves to go for walks! He does require to be leashed when outdoors or have a fenced in yard as he has a history of running. He would also need regular professional grooming due to his gorgeous coat!

October is booked out for grooming so if you are wanting to get your pup in for November or December please shoot us a call/text at (701)-389-9923 right away as the holiday months are upon us we have limited availability for both grooming and boarding, if we don't answer right away we are probably in the middle of a puppy pile of play or covered in water and dog hair. We will get back to you as soon as possible

Alright we figured we would share this here and see if there was any interest! We are looking at becoming a host location for Dr.Kylee of Lucky 7 Equine PLLC !!! She offers acupuncture and chiropractic care for canines, she will be in Kenmare on November 7th! Would anyone be interested in her services for that date and possibly regularly in the future?

Meet the face of Lucky 7 Equine! My name is Dr. Kylee Nelson and I grew up in Kenmare, ND. I’ve always had a soft spot for horses and competed in rodeo in high school. In 2023, I graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and following graduation, I completed a one year equine internship at Horner Equine in Dawson, ND. During my internship, I also completed a veterinary acupuncture course through CHI University and an animal chiropractic course through Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic and am certified through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. At this time, I am not offering any traditional veterinary services, but am going to take on both equine and canine patients for acupuncture and chiropractic care. I look forward to working with more people and animals in central North Dakota!

Edit: I would like to clarify this would be a free of charge service we'd like to help wherever we can if we need to throw a donation drive together for supplies we will get that started as well.

Today's Paws for a Cause was a success!!!
We were able to raise enough funds to be able to cover the low estimate on Dodges neuter but we are still about $100 under his high estimate. He is scheduled to go in for surgery October 8th, all thanks to everyone's support! Enjoy this photo of Charlie one of todays participants and an absolute sweetie!

It's amazing what a little compassion and patience can do. I'm sure most of you remember Coco from a previous post a while back, for those who don't we have attached a photo in the comment section.
This little guy has had a crazy last few months.
Due to a couple circumstances his original owners decided to rehome him (no fault of his own) and he was lucky enough to be adopted by an old acquaintance of ours! He has been on a regular grooming schedule ever since. He is still a little sensitive when it comes to his face and feet but his table manners are improving with every visit!!! We are so proud of you Coco and can't wait until we see you again!

Oh boy it's Bodhi, it was so nice to see this little guy again! It's been a few years as him and his owner moved away but she let me know she'd be back in town ahead of time so I could book him in for a groom!
I am so grateful for my clients past future and present!
