Lakefield is supporting , which has taken in over 400 animals since the fires began and is at capacity with drop-offs and goods donations. They are in greater need of monetary support to assist with treatment and ongoing care.

Dental pain in pets can be hard to spot, but if your pet is showing any of these signs, they may need a dental exam:

🤤 Excessive drooling
✋ Pawing at their mouth
🐾 Change in chewing behavior
🍖 Dropping food while chewing
😖 Avoiding having their face or mouth touched
🍽️ Not interested in dry food or hard treats

Bad breath, loose teeth, and bleeding of the gums are also signals of dental disease.
