Lunar New Year Zodiac Animals with Miss Brie
Today is the Lunar New Year, ushering in the Year of the Ox. Miss Brie has a question for all our Humane Education friends - what is your lunar Zodiac animal? Do their traits match your personality traits? ๐ถ ๐ฑ ๐ฐ ๐ต ๐ ๐ญ ๐
Holiday Break Challenge
Miss Brie has a holiday break challenge for humane education students near and far! Help us refill our animalsโ toy bins with homemade toys, made with recycled materials found at home!
In this video, Miss Brie shows us four different ways you can make toys for cats, dogs and small animals using a very common household item โ toilet paper rolls!! In honor of (finally) turning the calendars to 2021, she challenges you to collectively donate 21 of each kind of toy! Between all of our humane ed friends, will our pets get 84 new toys by the new year?
Check your recycling bins and get started! Remember to have your parents email Miss Brie when youโve dropped off your donations (we have a handy bin right outside the Adoption Center) so she can schedule a time to zoom and share with you all about how youโre helping the pets at AWS have a merry holiday season!
Thank you! Happy Holidays!!!
