Thank you so much for all the continued support. Sweet Lucy has fought so hard and is finally 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆! 🥹 She still needs some extra care and monitoring while she continues to gain strength — and we’re looking for a very special foster to help her heal.

All supplies and veterinary care are provided — we just need someone with a big heart and a little extra time to give this brave girl the love and support she deserves. 🩷🐾

𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗬 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 💖

Lucy 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 at the emergency vet! She was picked up at 7 a.m. and even got to 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗹 for about an hour before our vet opened — the two shared breakfast together this morning. 🩷

Lucy is still 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 and continues to fight hard. She does still need 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, so she is 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗼 again today for care and monitoring.

𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗼, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂?! 🐶
𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 — 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲!

This goofy, affectionate one-year-old loves toys, walks, water, and other dogs his size who like to play. He’s a Texas transplant who’s now a Maine mystery solver, ready to sniff out love and belly rubs instead of ghosts and snacks (okay, maybe snacks too 🍪).

He’s crate trained, cuddly, and full of heart. He’s also the best hugger!

Lucy has been 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘃𝗲𝘁, and we just spoke with the doctor. We’re so happy to share some 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 — her 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 and her 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗴𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗱 since she first came in to our vet this morning. 💕

Lucy does still have 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀, and we don’t have all the answers yet — but what we 𝗱𝗼 know is that this little one is a 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿. 💪🏻🐾

4:30pm Lucy is 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁! 🥹 Her 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗱 and her 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 and her 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘂𝗸𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗡𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘! 🙏 We’re still waiting on results for 𝘁𝗼𝘅𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀, 𝗙𝗜𝗣, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀.

Things are 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, but she’s still in 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 and not out of the woods yet. Our amazing team at 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗨𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 has been absolutely wonderful, but they aren’t staffed overnight — so Lucy 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 Animal Emergency Clinic of Mid Maine or fovernight hospitalization and monitoring before returning to our vet in the morning.

🚨 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗗! 🚨
Before we can hospitalize her overnight, we need to 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 to cover the cost of emergency care.

‼️𝗞𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡 𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬! ‼️🥺

Lucy woke up this morning 𝘀𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸, 𝘄𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗹𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲. 💔 She and her sister Ethel were rescued just two weeks ago after being found outside — now Lucy is being rushed to the ER for emergency care.

We currently have 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟲𝟬 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, and unexpected emergencies like this take a huge toll on our small rescue.

This stunning silver tiger beauty looks straight out of a fairytale — with her long, luxurious coat that resembles a Maine C**n / Norwegian Forest cat but in a petite body!

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘂 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁, 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗹 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗹𝗮𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗮𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘇𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗻𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀. She’s the perfect companion for movie nights, rainy days, and lazy Sunday mornings.

She is 3 years old, spayed, vaccinated, negative dor FIV/FELV, litter box trained, does well with other cats and small, calm dogs, but big dogs scare her, so a peaceful home would suit her best.
