Wow. What an amazing community we have.

Biscuit has started his medication for FIP. ๐Ÿค
Heโ€™s also on an antibiotic for his ear, a steroid, and an appetite stimulant.

Weโ€™ve honestly been holding our breath โ€” watching closely and hoping for no sudden changes. Knowing Biscuit has so many people cheering him on has meant more to us than we can say.

Heโ€™s been especially comforted by his foster brother, Cookie, who has stayed right by his side, and by his foster mom, who has been a constant source of love and reassurance. Seeing those sweet bonds has been incredibly heart-warming during such a scary time.

If this medication is going to work, weโ€™re hopeful weโ€™ll start to see improvement over the next couple of days. Weโ€™ll keep everyone posted. ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Biscuitโ€™s life is on the line and we are begging for your help ๐Ÿ’”

Many of you remember Biscuit, the kitten found alone in a field with a broken leg. Watching that leg heal was a huge victory and a testament to how strong this little guy is.

This week Biscuit went to the vet for what we believed was just an ear infection. Instead, we learned he is showing neurologic symptoms, including a head tilt, loss of appetite, and changes that have us highly suspicious of FIP.

โ€ผ๏ธWITHOUT the proper treatment FIP is FATALโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ญ

We are incredibly thankful that some of the very expensive medication Biscuit needs was donated, allowing us to start treatment tonight. However, we need to raise money to afford the full course of his treatment. Time is extremely limited for treatment to give Biscuit a fighting chance.

What makes this even harder is how much Biscuit has thrived in his foster home. He has formed a deep bond with his foster mom and with his foster brother Cookie. Despite everything heโ€™s been through, he remains sweet, affectionate, and resilient.

We donโ€™t talk about this often but we already are thousands in veterinary care debtโ€” So much that we have been forced to close our doors to new intakes ๐Ÿ’” This recent diagnosis is a devastating blow to our rescue financially.

Biscuit has so much life left to live but will need ongoing treatment, follow-up vet care, monitoring, and additional medication, and we cannot fight for him without your support.

Scarlett and Tansy are a beautiful motherโ€“daughter duo who are just as sweet as they are stunning.
Scarlett is a loving, gentle mama who has done an amazing job raising her baby, and Tansy is a playful, curious kitten soaking up the world around her.

They do wonderfully with kids, cats, and dogs and would thrive in a loving home โ€” ideally together.

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our Holiday Card Drive & Matching Donation Campaign this December. Because of your generosity, we were able to match $1,500, bringing our total raised to over $3,000 ๐Ÿค

This is a huge help toward our ever-growing vet bills and directly supports the animals who need us most.

We also want to say how much joy the holiday cards brought us โ€” opening envelopes filled with photos of adopted pets, sweet messages, and hand-drawn artwork was truly special. Seeing our former rescue animals thriving in their forever homes is the greatest reminder of why we do this work.

Enjoys laps, being held, and cuddling for naps
Friendly and outgoing

Of the sisters, UPS has a shyer side, with her confidence shining with her support of her more outgoing sister FedEx, and other cats in her foster home. They both could do well with other feline friends, and dogs with proper introductions, or could do well being your one and only duo.

They may have come from a cardboard box, but these girls are ready for a forever home filled with warmth, love, and all the attention they crave.

This beautiful girl has settled into her forever family so quickly. Sheโ€™s already made fast friends with the family dog and has blossomed into a sweet big sister to the little girls in her new home. ๐Ÿฅน
