HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY!
I’m a day late, but that’s because I’ve been busy caring for all your furbabies! 🐶

On this day, I couldn't help but reflect on the journey that brought me here and my beloved Sky, who passed away in 2021. Sky was more than just a dog; she was my best friend, my heart and soul—my "heart dog," as they say. 🩷

She is the inspiration behind Coastal Pet Care. Six years ago, I started this business with the goal of providing the level of care that I always wanted for her.

Sky had anxiety and some special needs, which made it incredibly difficult for me to find someone I could trust with her care. I was unable to travel for several years because I couldn’t find the peace of mind I needed to leave her in someone else’s hands. The dedication I had to her is what I bring to each of your pets every day, ensuring that you can be away from home confidently, knowing they are loved and cared for just as deeply as I cared for her. The meaning behind my slogan, “Pet Care Fur Your Peace of Mind.”

Through caring for Sky, I learned how important personalized and compassionate pet care truly is. Every dog is unique, and I understand that some animals need more love and reassurance before they can trust someone new in their home. That’s why I believe in slow introductions, multiple meet and greets, positive reinforcement, and practicing patience. My goal is to provide the same level of personalized care for each pet in our care as I did for Sky.

Over the last six years, I’ve cared for countless pets, each one leaving a unique pawprint on my heart. I’ve shared the heartache with you as some of your beloved companions crossed the rainbow bridge—they will forever hold a special place in my heart. I’ve also had the pleasure of joining in the excitement as you welcomed new puppies and rescues into your families.

On International Dog Day and every day, I’m thinking of my girl Sky, as well as all of your beloved dogs that have grown to feel like my own. Thank you to all my wonderful clients for trusting me to care for your precious pets.

Celebrating One Year with Ruby! 🎉🐶

It’s hard to believe that I’ve been caring for Ruby on a weekly basis for a whole year! From the time she was just 9 weeks old, I’ve had the pleasure of watching her grow and experience so many firsts:

🍁 Her first autumn
❄️ Her first snowfall
🎄🕎 Her first Christmas and Hanukkah
🎂 Her first birthday, and more!

Witnessing her playful spirit, her curiosity during our walks, and the bond we’ve built has been incredibly rewarding. I’m so grateful to Ruby’s family for trusting me with her care and allowing me to be a part of her journey.

To celebrate, I’m sharing some of my favorite photos I’ve taken of her during our time together. Here’s to many more adventures with this sweet girl! 🧡❤️

Although it was very hard to say no to those puppy dog eyes, I had to. I explained to Logan that chocolate is toxic to dogs, and even if it was safe this is most definitely expired! 🐶

Wether you want your pet included in photos, walked down the isle as flower girl or ring barrier or right beside you on your big day our professional pet care will ensure you and your pet have the best day ever!

Below are photos from our very first wedding on June 8, 2019! We had the pleasure of including Cecce and Buddha in their pawrents big day at the The Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport Maine.

What to expect:

Organization 📝

We will work closely with you and your wedding planner to create a “day of” timeline that ensures your pets are part of your special day, just the way you have pictured it!

Desensitization 🐶

No less then an hour prior to the event, we will bring your pet to the photo location and/or venue to get their sniffs in and become familiar with the environment. This will help familiarize them with their new surroundings and help ease any anxiety they may have.

Transportation 🚘

We provide all necessary transportation for your pet so no one misses out on any moments of your special day!

The Ceremony 💍

We will coordinate with your wedding planner, photographer and the person who will be walking your pet down the isle to ensure everything goes smoothly. We will remain at the venue (quietly out of sight) during the ceremony if you choose to include your pet in other aspects of your wedding day and or more photos afterwards.

The After Pawty 🎉

Once your pet has completed their role in your big day, we will bring them to their destination for that night, whether it’s a boarding facility, hotel room, or a home. We will make sure they are settled in and all of their needs are met before heading out for the night. After such a special and exciting day, we are sure they will be ready for bed!

Pet Sitting 🏡

We want you and your guests to enjoy your big day with the peace of mind that your pet is being cared for professionally! We offer pet sitting in your home or in your hotel room. We'll help customize a schedule to perfectly fit the pets needs.

Every year I treat my to a personalized holiday bone from my favorite pet bakery Four Your Paws Only . The these treats bring the puts the biggest on my face. But what warms my the most is reflecting on all 30 of these sweet faces and how I am to see them on a weekly basis.

2021 brought many new faces to the CPC pack. I can’t thank YOU all enough for trusting me to care for your beloved pets. I consider your my pet, and I consider it a privilege to care for them.

I’ve been caring for who I’ve nicknamed the “Golden Girls”…Brooklyn, Liberty and Summer on a daily basis for 2 years. Not only have I had the pleasure of spending time with the dogs but their little human siblings too.

Siene prefers a quick potty break followed by lots of #love! Can you tell?! 🥰 …Her sister Maize enjoys a long walk AND lots of #love. EVERY DOG IS DIFFERENT. Just like people, all pets are unique with individual needs. My goal is to provide personalized #petcare for each individual pet in my care. Wether it is a long walk or playtime at the park for the young and active dogs, or a brief walk and extra belly rubs for the senior #dogs; lots of playtime and chin scratches for the outgoing #cats, or silent devoted companionship for the more timid cats. All the pets I have the pleasure to care for are so #unique and hold a special place in my #heart. 🧡
