If anyone wanted an update on the sweet cat that fell out from under the car in front of us on 1187, here ya go! He was hospitalized for 24 hours and luckily did not require surgery for his little beans. He got to come home and has been getting acclimated to his new roommates. He is the sweetest little guy ever and when I tell you he’s a love bug. He loves to be held, wrap his paws around your neck, and drools all over your shoulder. His little beans are healing well and hopefully he will be fully healed soon. Enjoy his most recent photo shoot pics and updates on his burns. 🖤🖤🖤
Oh, and to be as cliche as possible, his name is Binx.🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛
We would like to thank Pamela and Stephanie for donating towards Binx’s vet bill. We put his bill on CareCredit and an additional credit card. However, we still need help paying the balance on these credit cards. The balance is currently $1,189.59. This was most definitely not an expected expense and we desperately need your help to cover his bill. It isn’t every day that God just drops a cat right in front of your car on 1187 that needs help. When God calls we answer and trust that he will provide the resources necessary to save the cat. Thank you in advance for helping Binx!

This kitty needs our help! Our Treasurer, Heather was in the right place at the right time today. This kitty fell out from underneath a car today on 1187 by the QT. She immediately rushed him to the Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital. He is suffering from heat exhaustion and his temperature is 108 degrees. They have him on IV fluids and oxygen. All of his toe beans are burnt and he has abrasions. Later on tonight after he has calmed down they plan to debride his toe beans.😭
The estimate for his emergency care is $2,200.00 - $2,550.00. We put down a $700.00 deposit to get his care started. If you would like to donate directly to Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital they will give you a code to make a payment on his account. Their number is (817) 900-2000.
If you would like to make a donation to our rescue our PayPal is [email protected], our Venmo is sonya-parker-6, and our mailing address is P.O. Box 472, Kennedale, TX 76060. Thank you in advance for helping this sweet kitty.

If you choose to rescue animals, I am going to give you some sound advice - Grow thick skin and don't care what people think of you. I have known people to lose the battle with their minds and we just lost a kind, caring individual in my rescue network. Compassion fatigue is real, but nothing is worth your life. No pet. No rescue. No person's opinion. Nothing.
In rescue, that person that tells you what an angel you are and how wonderful you are every time you pick up a stray pet thrown at their door will also be the first person who tells people how your organization is worthless when you don't have space to pick up the 30th pet thrown off on their property. It's ok.
In rescue, the adopter that leaves you the five star review about how wonderful everyone has been will change that review quick when they return the pet even though you have spent hours trying to keep it in their home. One star reviews are ok.
In rescue, your friend will be your friend until you deny their application for a pet because they are a great friend but a terrible pet owner. That's ok too.
In rescue, you will answer 143 calls in a day (yesterday to be exact). But if you miss 6 calls in a row while you are in the shower, you will be the one who "never answers their phone". It's ok.
In rescue, other rescuers and random trolls will judge everything you do but never have time to pitch in a hand to help when they see something needing more attention. They will, however, have lots of time to talk about how they’d do it better while they harass and judge you. It will be ok.
In rescue, you will have to involve animal control and the police department sometimes. The people who you take pets from will hate you - and I mean REALLY hate you. Trust me, it's ok.
In rescue, pets will be put down and pets will die at the hands of abusers. We can't save them all - and that's ok. We save the ones that we can and pray for peace for the ones we can't.
I have been in the animal rescue world since 2009. I have dealt with every problem and every situation imaginable. I used to take some things to heart, then I realized - I am doing this for the animals, not for any person in this world. I have found my joy and no person will take that. If you are in rescue, don't let anyone or anything take your joy. Find peace that you will never please everyone. Find peace that you will never save them all. Never allow something you love to turn into something that ends your life.

Cat lady math is when you adopt three cats out at an adoption event, have two left from your most recent rescue batch, pick up a new kitten that was dumped in your neighborhood, and justify it to your spouse that you’re still in the negative from your original starting number of 6 cats…. Let’s not mention this is the same foster mom with the two Great Pyrenees! 😹
Everyone welcome the newest baby to our rescue! We are getting him set up for his vetting and need help picking out a new name! Comment your suggestions down below!
Once again, this is another expense we had not intended on accruing. If you would like to make a donation our PayPal is [email protected], our Venmo is sonya-parker-6, and our mailing address is P.O. Tomorrow is the big day! These pups will be getting spayed/neutered and otherwise vetted to the tune of approximately $1,300.00. We have received one donation towards their vetting so far. Thank you so much Michele for your donation!!!! We don't typically rescue dogs and this is an expense that we had not anticipated and quite frankly we do not have the funds to cover. We desperately need your help!!!

Good afternoon Facebook friends! While we are mainly in the business of cats, sometimes the universal dog distribution system decides it’s our turn! Two weeks ago one of our members was greeted by a sweet Pyrenees girl at her door step. Thinking it was her neighbors, she put her on a leash and walked her around the block to the neighbors home. How shocked was she to find out it wasn’t their dog, but to find another one running around! She was able to get both and get them to her home safely. She had them scanned for microchips, posted on multiple fb pages for surrounding cities, made a pawboost alert, and even contacted several local shelters. No one on any platform reached out missing these babies. It’s assumed they were dumped as it’s very common for animals to be dumped near her home.
Neither have been spayed or neutered and both will need a full work up at the vet. The boy has severe separation anxiety and has unfortunately torn up every blind in his foster moms home. He will likely need to be on anxiety meds. Their weight prevents them from being spayed/neutered at any of the low cost clinics. We do not have the resources to vet these sweet babies, so we are asking for your help. It is our hope that getting the male neutered will help with his separation anxiety and his constantly jumping the foster’s fence.
If anyone would be willing to donate towards their vetting we would appreciate it so much! Attached are pictures of the sweet babies and the estimates from our vet for spay/neuter as well as vaccinations. The total cost is right under 1,250.00. Their foster mom has already covered flea and tick meds as well as dewormer out of pocket and they are definitely eating her out of house and home. Any amount will help! Also, any leads on placement for these babies or a forever home would be appreciated! We have reached out to about 12 rescues who are full to the brim understandably. Even offers to foster for adoption have gone unanswered.
If you would like to make a donation our PayPal is [email protected], our Venmo is sonya-parker-6, and our mailing address is P.O. Box 472, Kennedale, TX 76060. Thank you in advance for your support of our rescue and for helping us save these sweet Pyrenees.

TODAY IS GIVING TUESDAY!!! Several weeks ago we started feeding 4 kittens and 4 adult cats that were abandoned when their owner moved and left them to fend for themselves. They were so hungry and happy to see us each morning and evening. Last week we were able to get them inside and safe from predators. We have scheduled their spays and neuters, testing, deworming, vaccinations, and microchips for next Tuesday and Wednesday. This is an expense that we had not anticipated having. We would appreciate donations to help us cover the cost of their vetting. If you would like to make a donation our PayPal is [email protected], our Venmo is sonya-parker-6, and our mailing address is P.O. Box 472, Kennedale, TX 76060. Rusty and Mickey (foster failures) They just went on a 110 day, 7300 mile motorhome trip through 15 states and Canada with their mom and dad! They started out in life by losing their mom to a horrible man. They were rescued and you can see where their story is now. We thank Mark and Rene for saving them and their sisters.

Meet Mr Flynn. This guy was found roaming the streets. After dutifully looking for his owner he became part of the rescue. He was so laid back and easy going. He was adopted quickly. Little did we know that Flynn would soon be competing in cat shows. And he has done very well. This is what we do and we can’t do it without you!! Flynn went from rags to riches. Thank you all for supporting us!

This is Bon Jovi and at 20 1/2 years old he is the oldest cat in our rescue. Bon Jovi has recently decided that he no longer wants to use the litter box. He prefers to use puppy pads. I guess when you have lived as long as he has you get to make those kind of decisions. Tomorrow is North Texas Giving Day and Bon Jovi wants to know if there is anyone that would like to help buy some puppy pads for him. He says that he appreciates all of the donations that our friends have made in the past to help him and the other kitties. You can use the following link to make a donation. https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/organization/New-Hope-Cat-Rescue-And-Sanctuary
Sweet Buster! 4 month old solid black male kitten. He is a sweet kitten, he loves to play and play hard. He would do well with older children. Not sure how he would react to a dog, but maybe with proper introduction. He has really long legs. He is available for adoption. He is fully vetted too!
We have some adorable kittens for adoption. Banjo stole the toy and the others are running after him!!
Bindi needs our help!
BINDI NEEDS OUR HELP!!! 3 years ago we tagged Bindi from a South Texas high kill shelter when she was six weeks old. Bindi tested positive for FIV and also suffers from Chronic Sinusitis. A couple of months ago she started having trouble breathing through her nose and her left eye was running. I gave her antibiotics and they didn't help. I took her to the vet where she received a different antibiotic. That didn't help her so we went back to the vet. We tried a different antibiotic and you guessed it no improvement. She was then started on an antifungal. A couple of days later we went back to the vet, because her left check was swollen. The vet said that he felt that a fungas was causing it and that her left eye was tracking to the left. He felt that we needed to give her the antifungal daily instead of every other day. He indicated that there really was no way to determine how much fungus was in her sinus cavity without doing a CT scan. He also mentioned the dreaded C word as a possibility. Approximately one week later the bridge of her nose was swollen. I then scheduled her for a second opinion with a specialist. At that appointment the vet lanced the bridge of her nose to obtain a sample to send to the pathologist. The sample contained no fungus. The next step is to do bloodwork and send it off to determine if she has a fungus and to identify the fungus in order to properly treat it or do a CT Scan that costs $2,000.00. This vet also mentioned the dreaded C word. We would like to do the blood test on Bindi to determine if she has a fungus or cancer. We need help paying for her medical bills. Bindi is a real fighter, but she is miserable. The sooner we can get this blood test the sooner we can help her one way or the other. I am attaching the bill from the first visit to the specialist and the estimate for the bloodwork. If you would like to donate to Bindi's vet bill Our PayPal is: [email protected], our Venmo is: Sonya-Parker-6, and ou

Remember the litter of 8 kittens we rescued at 2 weeks old? Here they are now. Learning to eat on their own (finally!). We are learning their personalities so we can name them. We did lose one little guy, but is safe with his momma romping in his heavenly home. If you would like to donate kitten food they would be very happy!!! It takes a lot of food for this crew! Our PayPal is [email protected] and VENMO is Sonya-Parker-6.
