These 2 little girls have really gotten personalities over the last 2 weeks! They are so much fun to play with. Brynn, our Blue Merle LOVES shoe laces & playing tag. Josie (or JoJo as the kids call her) is so playful and loves to cuddle! They both love their little squeak toys and yellow ball!

Hello Stark Creek Fam!

Check out these cuties! They will be 4 weeks old on Wednesday! Both are still looking for homes! They have amazingly playful personalities. Our kids love them & can’t get enough of them!

They will be starting puppy food on Wednesday as they have gotten their teeth and are now able to consume food other than mama’s milk.

Hello Stark Creek Family!!!

Sorry for the late update! I have been extremely busy with working from home, kids in different schools this year & helping my grandparents while my brother is recovering from a farm related accident.

We are just over a week with these sweet girls!

They are growing incredibly fast! My kids have given them names & are loving them so much.

Josie - Red Merle Female - she is weighing in at 2.9 lbs and her eyes are cracking open a little. We may have an early peek at the eyes on this girl.

Brynn - Blue Merle Female - she is weighing in at 3.1 lbs and no sign of eyes for her. She is our chunky girl & loves to eat. Every time mama is around she is eating.

It has definitely been a different experience having such a small litter. We are use to 5-8 puppies so 2 is looking to be a lot easier. But we will see!

Now please marvel at these adorable little girls!

Hello Stark Creek Family!

We have come to the decision that this will be Nova’s final litter. We are planning to get her spayed once she has completely healed from this litter. She has been an amazing mama to some pretty sweet pups! She will now get to enjoy the rest of her days as a lazy house dog! We want to thank each and every one of you that have adopted puppies from us!

We are hoping that we can continue the Stark Creek name with Luna! We will be following her very closely over the next month or so to follow her heat cycle & hopefully a pregnancy journey with her as well.

Thank everyone again for supporting us & our sweet pups!

Good Morning!!

We got quite the surprise this morning! We went into dog enclosure to keep and water the pups this morning and found 2 little puppies!

Our sweet Nova whelped 2 puppies without us even knowing she was pregnant. She showed no signs of heat or pregnancy. Even if she had we were planning for her to come into heat this month!

We have 2 happy healthy female pups! 1 red Merle and 1 blue Merle.

I will upload pics once we get mama and babies comfortable in the house.

Spending some time outside today since it has cooled off. These pups love to splash in their water bowl & bask in the sun! These guys & girl will love to be outside every chance they get. This litter has been super fun to raise. They are all so full of personality & energy!

Happy 3 weeks to these beautiful spunky babies! These babes are growing so fast. We still have 3 of these pups available! They will be ready to go June 4th.

This week they will start soft food and eat less from their mama. They have all opened their eyes and are walking around great on all 4s. We have moved them to a playpen box so they have room to move around and play. Mama is with them throughout the day but comes and goes. At night she is in the pen with them all night so they have bonding time.

Hopefully it will warm up and the wind will die down soon so we can spend some time outside. They love to play with my kiddos and get love. They are finding their voices and can be mouthy. We love to hear their little barks and squeals.

We will be setting up visits next week for visits with our puppies if our puppy families are interested to meet these sweet babies. And if you have been holding off on purchasing one of these sweet babies this option would let you meet the babies before you put a deposit down.

Good Evening Stark Creek Family!!

These sweet babies are velcro babies to their mama so we haven’t gotten individual pictures yet! We have also gotten them appropriate collars since this picture was taken (this was about an hour after birth yesterday). So all info will be given by puppies collar color going forward.

They go tomorrow to have tails and dewclaws removed. The puppies with full tails will be keeping their tails but the 2 with half tails will be having them removed. All puppies will be having dewclaws removed. This benefits them so they do not have issues with their feet in the long run.

They are happy healthy (hungry) babies. Their eyes will open around 2 weeks of age so we will not know eye color until then.

The below colors are their current collar colors not what is in the picture!!

Good Afternoon! Wacky News Wednesday!

Nova has whelped her puppies! We have 5 healthy little wiggle butts!

Once they are all cleaned up and settled I will get pictures of them and post! We are super excited to have little babies back in the house.

Mama is so ready to have these babies! She is super clingy and cuddly these last few days. We go for another X-ray on Thursday to get a full puppy count and to check on the babies.

Nova is having some digestive discomfort the last 2-3 days. She has decreased her eating and has been nauseous with some small amounts of vomiting. Vet has said this is normal as long as she is still eating small amounts and drinking which she is. These are new for her as she normally has no issues. We will be keeping a close eye on her for the next week.

Please pray for my hubby as he will be our mama/ possible puppy weekend warrior as my daughter and I travel to VA for a cheer competition.

Nova got a clean bill of heath from her favorite vet today! After an X-ray and ultrasound she confirmed 4-6 puppies! We will bring going back in on April 7th for a recheck ultrasound due to the puppies not being fully calcified. This is putting them at 38-42 days along.

With that being said, most dogs are pregnant for 60-65 days. So we are about 20-24 days away from h whelping if she goes to the “full term” point. Her last litter she went 56-58 days from her tie dates so we could have less time.

Exciting news!! We are taking Nova in for an X-ray on Thursday to confirm pregnancy! She has been gaining weight and decreasing her food intake. She has been moved into our puppy area in the house. She has been more cuddly and clingy the last week so fingers crossed we see babies on the X-ray! If pregnancy is confirmed, she will be due in the next month.

Good Morning Stark Creek Family-

It has been a while since we have made an update!

We are currently in the process of finding a larger space for our family & our fur babies! But for the time being, we are converting our current shed into a dog house for our fur babies.

Nova is due to come into heat again within the next month so we are keeping a close eye on her. With that being said we will most likely have new little wiggle butts after the first of the year! Please shoot us a message if you are interested in a new addition to your family.

We are in the process of preparing for getting reproductive testing done on Luna. She has not shown any signs of heat in the last 17 months. With that some dogs do not go into active heat until they are 24 months. We just want to make sure there are no health issues that are preventing our sweet crazy Luna from having her own babies.

Since we have updated everyone on our girls, we will give you a short and sweet update on Rocky! He is the sweetest pup we have ever had. He is very protective of his girls but bows to them! We love that a lot of our wiggle babies have his demeanor and personality.

Happy Sunday!

I have been a bit behind these last few weeks (time flies by)! Puppies have grown quite a bit! I can’t believe they are 4 weeks already! They have had 2 dewormers already & we are halfway to them being in your homes!

4 week weigh in:

Black Tri Male: 4.9 lbs (Brown Eyes)
Red Tri Female: 4.3lbs (Green Eyes)
Red Merle Female: 4.8lbs (Blue Eyes)
Red Merle Male: 5.1lbs (Blue Eyes)
Red Merle Male (Bob Tail): 3.8lbs (Blueish Green Eyes)

They got their first bathtub bath today… They got to hang out in the water & splash around. Not all we’re fond of the water at first but enjoyed it after a few mins.

They started Puppy Food Yesterday! It is a huge hit! They can’t get enough of it. Mom has left the building! Once they start puppy food we let her just hang out if she wants but she has chosen to let them be big pups & not nurse anymore.

We are so excited to continue to watch them grow and flourish into the pups they grow up to be. Their personalities are really starting to show. && they all LOVE attention & cuddles.

They are still wet & are wore out from their bath and playtime while I cleaned their box out.
