Paddy-Wagon went home today with a whole new mindset. 2 weeks ago you would have never seen him sitting in the middle of a bunch of people, today he calmly laid down and let everyone love on him. So so proud of him and I miss him already.

Also, its been 5 years and still every time I send a dog home I freak out on the way home when I see they’re not in the back of my car😂When I say your pups become mine when they’re with me, I mean it.

I was so worried after Seven’s first bath that he wasn’t meant to be a water dog, but thank god for rainy day puddles🌧️

Sometimes dogs with separation anxiety get enabled by the AMOUNT of direction they get. They rely on it fully and never learn to make good decisions on their own. I tethered her so if she got off, she couldnt follow me around. She’d get off, and feel the leash guiding her back to bed before I had to step in. She learned how to make the decision that makes her feel good WITHOUT me. She gains confidence in that decision and independence.
