Treetops Kitty Cafe is run by the non-profit Treetops Animal Rescue. We are the first and only Cat Cafe in Chester County currently! Cat Cafes are open environments for rescue cats to mingle with visitors. We do not operate as a food service, but we offer self-serve hot beverages to sip on while you mingle with our cats. Entry fees are listed on our website along with information about how to adopt a cat from us!

Over the past two weeks, Treetops Kitty Café has been closed due to a ringworm outbreak. During this time, our team has been cleaning, disinfecting, and treating cats daily to ensure the health and safety of everyone: cats, staff, and future visitors.

Unfortunately, that level of cleaning takes a toll. Because of the wear and tear from daily sanitizing, we need to replace essential items like cat trees, bedding, toys, rugs, and other enrichment materials that help make Treetops a safe, comforting place for our cats while they wait for their forever homes.

💛 Supporting One of Our Own – Laura 💛

Laura has been a cherished part of the Treetops Kitty Cafe family. She is a dedicated volunteer, a comforting presence the cats adore, and the proud adopter of Miso 🐾.

In April, Laura began experiencing severe migraines, which led to the discovery of a golf ball–sized tumor in the center of her brain, and was later diagnosed as Glioblastoma. Even during treatment, she continued to give what she could—helping at the Cafe and volunteering during the Mushroom Festival. That’s simply who Laura is—selfless, caring, and deeply committed.

Recently, Laura’s condition has declined. We are sharing this with our community because Treetops has always been about more than cats—it’s about people, too. 💚 Gifts of Hope: SPACE 🩷

At Treetops Kitty Café, caring for our cats means showing up for the daily essentials — every single day.

Each morning, every cat receives wet food, and throughout the day, we maintain 4–6 bowls of dry food on the café floor, cleaned and refreshed twice daily. To keep our space healthy and comfortable, we also care for 14–16 litter boxes, which are scooped twice daily and fully cleaned with fresh litter weekly (or more often as needed).

All of this requires a steady supply of:
• Cat food - both canned and dry!
• Kitty litter
• Cleaning supplies
• Laundry and dishwashing (yes — multiple loads every day!)

These behind-the-scenes needs may not be glamorous, but they are essential. Your support ensures our cats are fed, clean, comfortable, and cared for every single day they call Treetops home.

Hi. I’m Ethel. The one you see in the video, surveying my domain. 😼

This cozy place you’re looking at? It’s more than just a "space". It’s my home, at least for now! There are warm spots to nap, windows from which to judge the outside world, plenty of food (as it should be), and humans who understand that I like my space… even sometimes from the other cats.

Treetops gives cats like me room to breathe, settle in, and feel safe. That takes more than love (though I accept plenty of that). It takes space; rent and insurance paid, lights on, water running, laundry done, litter boxes cleaned, food stocked, and caring humans here every day to keep things running smoothly.

And all of it is only possible because of YOU!
