We landed this afternoon and grabbed a shuttle to the hotel where we were able to check into our room a bit early! Adrianna did some school work while I answered messages. Then we headed to the hotel banquet room where we met some of the amazing Equine Nutrition Researchers. We are now having a tour of the Anheuser-Busch Stables in St. Louis!

Having such a wonderful guest be a part of our camp and lesson program brings a unique opportunity for for our riders to expand their horsemanship and riding skills by acknowledging that their mental mindset has a much bigger influence on their success than most realize in the beginning.

Breakthrough Equestrian LLC is owned and operated by local Unionville resident Jenny Moyer. After Jenny started her own business, she wanted to bring on a top trainer and could not think of anyone else that provided more expertise and professionalism than Tara Ziegler. Tara and Jenny grew up riding together and have remained friends throughout the years.

Breakthrough is located in the heart of Unionville, PA and provides ample trails and fields for endless hacking. There is an outdoor ring, cross country jumps and hills for exercising and training. We offer full board where each horse is provided a matted stall bedded with straw. Daily blanketing, fly control, turn out (Daytime/Night time based on season) farrier and vet appointments managed by farm when using farm services. Horses are also evaluated by Purina nutritionist where their level of fitness program, age, and other needs are all taken into consideration to maximize their best feed program. Horses are monitored each day to insure no visible injuries or discomfort. All fields are rotated seasonally to ensure healthy field regrowth each year.

Breakthrough has established a training and sale program. All horses are evaluated and then placed in specific training program that highlights each horse’s individual ability. While at breakthrough they receive expect care and attention that insures healthy, safe horses are matched to the ideal riders.
