🚨 Friendly Reminder from Vista Veterinary Hospital 🚨

We love animals just as much as you do, but we want to kindly remind our community that we are not a shelter and cannot take in stray animals. In the past couple of weeks, we've had two kittens left at our front door In cardboard boxes — while we understand these situations come from a place of compassion, leaving animals without proper arrangements puts them at risk.

If you find a stray or abandoned animal, please reach out to our local shelters or animal control for the resources and support they need. Together, we can help keep every pet safe and cared for in the right environment. 🐾❤️

Thank you for understanding and for helping us look out for the animals in our community!

🔥☀️ Heat Advisory Alert! ☀️🔥

Temps are rising fast, and Vista Veterinary Hospital (and Winnie McDogtail) wants to remind everyone to keep your pets safe during this heatwave!

🐾 Never leave pets in parked cars — even with the windows cracked, temps can soar to dangerous levels in minutes.
🐾 Limit outdoor time during peak heat hours. Make sure your pets have plenty of shade and fresh, cool water.
🐾 Check the asphalt before walks — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!

Let’s keep our furry friends safe, cool, and happy this summer! 🌿🐶🐱

As the only local veterinary clinic offering chemotherapy, we are honored to provide pets like Captain with the advanced care they deserve. His journey is a testament to the power of expert treatment, love, and determination.
