Edited to add: This post is not to shame anyone. This pup is dearly loved. She is usually on a regular schedule. It is simply meant to be informative.
Sometimes, we can work a little bit of magic. ❤️
When your groomer forgets to rebook your next appointment, and you get yourself into a sad hot mess. Thanks to some awesome conditioning products, Miss Bell is feeling fabulous just in time for the holidays.
Not all pets are good candidates for any dematting processes. It can be time-consuming to work tangles away from the skin without hurting your pet.
We do not demat dogs that are super anxious, aggressive, tender, or have mats that have begun to pelt against the skin.
Miss Bell here loves to be groomed and was able to get in before her tangles became too much of a problem.
As you can see in the second collage, this was her process. After her bath and blow-out, she looks fluffy and tangle free. Which was not the case. For her comfort, her legs and belly had to be taken shorter.
When brushing between grooms at home, focus more on the legs, belly, ears/neck, and tail.
