“High point from today: Young man confidently walks up to Mastro Mutts tent and very politely asked if he needed to be 18 to purchase his own dog💛 Since he wasn’t 18 his mom came back with him to help him adopt…he paid his own cash for his puppy, Tux & watching his face light up was so sweet.”

Tux has found his boy!

Look ma, we made the Kenosha News 🏆 🗞️

We had an amazing day yesterday at the Kenosha Public Market and at Jerry Smith Pumpkin Farm

Getting homeless dogs into loving forever homes is the greatest gift! And we are so thankful to this amazing community for helping us to make it happen!

SOMERS — Hundreds of area residents and the furry friends turned out for Jerry Smith Farm’s Dog Days of Summer on Saturday.

Aggie | 13 weeks old | Spayed Female

Hey cowboys and cowgirls! This little baby here is what we like to call a “cowboy corgi” believed to be a mix between a corgi and a heeler!

She is spunky and full of life! She’s a goofy little girl who loves to bring joy to everyone around her. She got spayed a little sooner than we would prefer but, hey… less work for you to do!

Aggie is good with other dogs and humans of all shapes and sizes! She loves to be outside running and playing, loves to eat, and loves to get lots of hugs.

Aggie really is a true joy! She is currently being fostered in Kenosha where she is working on hard on all the basic domesticated house dog stuff!

Willow | 7 months old | Female

The only thing more beautiful than Willow is her personality! She is simply amazing! We don’t know her heritage but, I bet you have guesses as to what breed mixes might be in there!

Willow does well in a kennel, she is potty trained, she does well on a leash. She is great with kids and other dogs but has not been tested with cats.

Willow loves to play and run outside. She enjoys squeaky toys and enjoys sunbathing when there’s a nice breeze outside.

Willow is currently being fostered in Kenosha where she awaits her forever family!

Lillie | 12 weeks old | Female

Lille is an adorable little spunky girl! She came to us with her litter mates and is the only girl left hanging out with her brothers.

Lillie loves to sunbathe outside and snuggle up on the couch with her favorite humans inside. She loves everyone and everything and is just truly enjoying life.

She enjoys all kinds of toys and can be kept busy for hours with a bone to chew on. She is excellent with other dogs and kids.

Currently, she is being fostered in Kenosha where she is learning all sorts of new things like potty training, kennel training, leash training and basic obedience.

Boss | 1 year old | Neutered Male

Boss man is ready for adoption! He is the perfect, well rounded dog! He even smiles on command.

Boss is good with other dogs, kids and cats. He was placed in a shelter in November of last year and sat there for 7 months. Then, he was out of time at the shelter and was faced with euthanasia.

Thankfully, we were contacted and our foster took about .5 seconds to say yes to him. Now that he is safe, happy and healthy, he’s ready for the final move in his life! The move into his forever home.

Boss is currently being fostered in Kenosha. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, Heartworm negative, fully housebroken, kennel trained, and he walks well on leash.

Chupacabra | 13 weeks old | Male

This tiny little fella is our very own, Chupy!! He came here to Mastro Mutts along with his 6 littermates and his mom when he was just 6 days old!

We know that Chupy’s mom is a pitbull/husky mix, but she is tiny, herself at just 28 lbs. We don’t know what breed mixes their dad was. At only 4 lbs currently, we expect Chupy to be about 15 lbs when he is full grown.

Chupy is quirky and fun! He is a handsome and confident little guy and he loves everyone and everything. He really adores his humans and will show his love with kisses and cuddles.

He is great with other dogs, cats and children. Currently he is being fostered in Kenosha where he is working on potty training, leash training, basic obedience etc.

If you’re looking for a lovable best buddy, he’s your man!

Khloe | 13 weeks old | Female

Khloe is a super sweet little girl! Shes taken a while to get comfortable in her new environment and now she is eager to find her very own humans!

We believe that she is a Weimaraner mix but.. it’s really just a best guess. Khloe loves to play with other dogs (both bigger and smaller). She is great with kids too.

Her most important mission in life is to make her people happy. She loves to put a smile on faces!

She loves to play with squeaky toys and can be kept busy for hours with a bone. She does well in a kennel and is working on leash training and potty training.

Khloe is currently being fostered in Kenosha, where she is being reminded how gorgeous she is about every 20 minutes!

Juniper | 6 months old | Female

Juniper is the sweetest little girl! She’s approximately 6 months old and most likely a pittie mix… although I swear I see some sharpei in there.

Juniper loves to run and play and is, what we lovingly refer to as, a Velcro dog. Meaning she loves to be right by her favorite human at all times.

She is excellent with other dogs and loves to run in the backyard to get her zoomies out. He is great with kids and is a top notch cuddler! She is almost fully potty trained, does well on a leash and is very receptive to basic obedience training.

Juniper is currently being fostered in Kenosha where she is being reminded how amazing she is on a daily basis.

Loomis | 14 weeks old | Male

Rosemary made some cute babies, eh? Meet Loomis!!! At just 5 lbs, Loomis is the BIGGEST of his litter! We did have mama Rosemary DNA tested and she came back as a Pitsky (husky and pitbull). We don’t know who their daddy was… but we are guessing that he may have been even smaller than 28 lb Rosemary. Moral of the story, we don’t expect Loomis to get bigger than 25 ish lbs.

Loomis loves to play with stuffed toys and bones. He is a sweet and lovable little boy. He adores to be in the company of his people. Loomis gets along great with all animals and people. He loves playing with the kids in the yard but he is also very content snuggling up on the couch for a good nap.

He is currently being fostered in Kenosha, and he is learning lots of new things like kennel training, leash training and basic in home doggy stuff. Loomis is super ready to find his PAWrents!

Todd | 13 weeks old | Male

Little Todd is believed to be a chihauhua mix. If we had to guess, we would guess that he will be a medium size once full grown, like between 20-30 lbs.

Not only is he incredibly adorable, he is such a complete snuggly sweet heart, too!

In his foster home, he is doing amazing with potty training, he loves playing with other dogs, he’s polite to cats, he’s good with kids… AND he’s nice and quiet and comfy in his kennel when he needs to be.

Todd is a well balanced, amazing dog! He is friendly, energetic, intelligent and sweet!

He is currently being fostered in Kenosha where he is getting all the love his little heart could desire, while he waits for a forever family!

Harrison | 13 weeks old | Male

Harrison, or also lovingly known as “Prince Harry”, is ready to find his happily ever after!

Harry is a super fun, goofy, intelligent and sweet little boy. He loves to love and be loved! He is great with other dogs and kids. He sleeps quietly through the night with no messes in his kennel.

Our best breed guesses for Harry include Shepherd, boxer and maybe some lab. He is just a happy go lucky young man who enjoys every second of life and he deserves to have an amazing home where he can be spoiled the rest of his days.

He is currently being fostered in Salem, WI and he is working hard on potty training and getting comfortable with a leash. We cannot wait to help find him his perfect match!

Tux | 13 weeks | Male

Tux…. His pictures speak louder than anything we can write but, we shall give it a try!

Tux is perfect! He seems to have not been treated great in the first part of his life, so we are convincing him that not all humans are 💩bags.

Not only is he stunningly beautiful, he gives the best cuddles and hugs once he trusts you. He has a beautiful, shiny coat that is just as soft as it looks.

Tux is excellent with other dogs and kids. He loves to play with all types of toys and bones and sleeps quietly through the night with no messes in his kennel.

He is currently being fostered in Salem, WI where is learning all sorts of new things like potty training, leash training and socialization.

Harlow | 3.5 months old | Female

Harlow is a goofy and fun girl who sleeps just as much as she plays! She gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids.

She is quite large already so we expect her to be quite large when full grown! We don’t know exactly what breed mixes went into the making of her, but we suspect there might be some Newfoundland and Lab in there. She has massive paws and she is just a very sweet and gentle baby.

She is currently being fostered in Kenosha, where she is learning all sorts of new things like, potty training, leash training and basic in home manners.
