Each cat or kitten is tested for Feline Leukemia and is current on distemper vaccinations. All have been de-wormed and de-fleaed. Any cat or kitten old enough to be spayed or neutered undergoes the procedure and receives a rabies vaccine before it is offered for adoption. With every adoption, we’re there for you and your new friend, to make sure every phase of introducing your kitten or cat into y

our home is smooth and pleasant. Or consider providing FOSTER CARE for a homeless cat instead. A valuable service with heart-felt lessons as you provide an interim loving home.

Volunteer Spotlight: Ruby

Today we want to celebrate one of our youngest and most passionate volunteers, Ruby. Ruby is 9 years old and has been volunteering with Kindred Kitties since she was just 7, alongside her mom. From the moment she joined us, Ruby’s love for cats—and her dedication to helping them—has been truly inspiring.

Ruby recently told her mom to let us know she wants to be a “Kindred Kitties spokeswoman,” and honestly, she already is. Whether she’s talking to friends, family, or visitors, Ruby proudly shares the stories of the cats and kittens we rescue.

This photo is of Ruby and her best friend, Oreo Ray. Oreo Ray was by Ruby's side her whole life. Sadly, this past weekend, Oreo Ray passed away. Losing a beloved pet is never easy, especially when they’ve been part of your life from the very beginning. Our hearts go out to Ruby and her mom. ❤️

Ruby’s compassion and kindness are exactly what make the Kindred Kitties community so special. Volunteers of all ages make a difference—and Ruby reminds us that you’re never too young to help change the world for kitties in need.

It's Prime Day—and a great time to help our foster cats & kittens! 🛒🐾

Now through July 11th, Amazon Prime Day deals make it easy to stock up on supplies we need for the cats in our care—and for the volunteers who care for them!

We can always use essentials like Fancy Feast kitten pate, Purina Pro Plan adult cat food, and Rescue Disinfectant wipes and helpful extras like pheromone diffusers, kitten scales, thermometers, toys, bowls, beds, and office supplies (think ink, paper, and bottled water for our hardworking volunteers).

Asher, Gucci, and Morty—three of our handsome boys—have found their forever homes. While we’ll miss their sweet faces and gentle souls, we are overjoyed knowing they’ll be cherished and loved in their new families.
