Jackel is settling in and even asks for pets. She is offering kisses and even though she startled easy, she looks to foster mom for guidance.

Jinx, aka Tai, is still looking for her forever home. This beautiful girl is off leash reliable once she trusts you. Tai is 4 years old and spayed and utd on shots.

Riley 💚
This sweet boy came to NTAI on March 19th, almost 2 weeks ago. His owner passed away of brain cancer and the family decided to surrender him to a shelter in Texas. The same shelter Azrael came from. We worked for a month to get everything organized to transport him to Ohio. We are forever grateful to the transporters that volunteered their time and efforts to get him here.
This video is the night he arrived. He spent his first week shaking constantly, just like you see here. He is still terrified, shakes and doesn’t really trust, but we’re working on it. He has a place in the garage that he lays and doesn’t want to leave. We set the garage up like a living room and spend a lot of time out here with our doggy guests. Riley knows now that if we come out, he’s getting treats, food, water, or pets. He also knows if he sees us pick up the leash it’s time to go for a walk. His tail stays tucked, it doesn’t even look like he has a tail half the time. He still growls at me, but he doesn’t act like he wants to eat my hands anymore. He doesn’t hide his head and acknowledges us, but he still has a long way to go. We have to move very slowly with Riley or he spooks and shuts down again. He gave me a lick for the first time yesterday and even surprised himself. We spend a lot of time just sitting next to him and trying to get him to come out of his shell.
We have found that Riley LOVES the Blue Buffalo Santa Snacks soft dog treats more than ANYTHING ! I decided to put them on our wishlist because we’re running low and I’m hopeful we can get some donated to us. He also looks to have some dental issues and with his current state, I haven’t taken him to the vet yet to limit his stress. We had some moist & meaty soft dog food donated and he eats it so much easier than hard food, which he wouldn’t even chew and just swallow whole. If anyone would be willing to donate more of that also, I would appreciate it SO MUCH and so would Riley. He needs o
