Everyone say hello to Charlie!

Charlie is an 8 month old American Pit Bull Terrier who will be spending some time here for our daily stay and play program!

So far she’s fitting in just fine ❤️

We’re still at it!

Porsche, owned by Shania of Rat Dog Media by Shania Greenwood, came out with us today for a socialization field trip!

We love working with dogs of all ages, especially when they’re in tough adolescent spots. 🐩🐩🐩

Hi friends!

I have availability coming up this weekend for field trips, hikes, and short stay and plays!

One of my personal dogs is undergoing surgery this coming Monday and so that week, I’d be happy to take on an additional stay and play client so I can stay home with him. 🙂

Koda is a 13 week old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who’s doing field trips with us! Today we people watched, worked on the “look at that” game, and started shaping some basic positions.

This little lady is smart and sweet!

Meet Seven!

Seven is a two year old Beauceron, or French Shepherd.

She’ll be here at homebase for Best Puppy Forward for a while to get some extra socialization and outings.

Beaucerons are a slow maturing breed and we love working with adolescents, especially of those of rarer breeds. ❤️

This is a huge reason why I don’t tout myself as a dog trainer.

I can train some and work with simpler things but the trainers who mentor me always have my back.

Meet Ennis!

He’s been with us for about three weeks due to an emergency rescue need and he’s been fitting right in with the BPF crew!

He is estimated at about a year old, but make no mistake- he is still an adolescent who needs socialization and help figuring out life.

Because May is eternally a cursed month for me, we won’t be at the Atwater show or Medina Kennel Club’s FastCAT/CAT trials because my sweet boy, Lucian, came down with a nasty cough.

Yes, he’s isolated, yes, all of them are vaccinated, no, I won’t be taking any in-home clients for a few weeks.

I will continue taking clients for adventures, outings, and hikes with Best Puppy Forward 🍂

I will be taking off a week every eight weeks and I do have some folks already slotted for certain weeks.
