May the 4th Be With You
Today is the unofficial, official Star Wars Day.
Star Wars fans may have uttered the phrase often, but it was in England that the phrase was first used mainstream. It was 1979, and Britain had just elected the first female Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.
On May 4th, the day she took office, the Conservative Party placed an advertisement in The London Evening News, which read, โMay the Fourth Be with You, Maggie. Congratulations.โ
May the 4th be with YOU!
We will be closed today 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
