Let’s get to know some of our team during Vet Tech Week!
Frankie got to enjoy some cheese!
Zeus is here to let everyone know that we will be closed tomorrow, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day.
A few safety tips:
1. Keep pets indoors during fireworks (they tend to run away in fear). Playing relaxing sounds on the tv or radio may be able to help!
2. Keep everyone HYDRATED with limited outdoor time. The weather is calling for 86 degrees and SUNNY. Provide plenty of shade and water if pet must be outdoors. Excessive outdoor activity can lead to heat strokes. Absolutely DO NOT leave pets in hot cars.
3. No table scraps! *Especially* corn on the cob, bones, garlic, chocolate, grapes, or alcohol!
4. Be cautious around open waters
Running into the weekend like..

Happy Holidays
A letter to our generous, caring clients…
The problems that we have faced this year have been difficult to maneuver through, but some how we have been able to carry on with our essential services to the community. As most of you are aware, in an effort to keep our staff safe we are still operating under a “curb side” business practice. Entry into our building is monitored and limited to only staff and absolute necessary visitors. Cleaning and disinfecting are normal behaviors for us so in addition to keeping our environment germ free, we are following the governor's advice, wearing our masks, washing our hands even more and social distancing when we can.
We have wonderful clients that often show their love and appreciation to our staff through generous gifts of delicious food. Through their acts of kindness and generosity, we have often had our days made better by enjoying a tasty treat. For years our patients have told us that treats make their time at the hospital better too!
This brings us to an unfortunate and unpopular decision. In keeping with the best principles of public health, beginning now and continuing beyond the holidays, we will not be able to accept gifts of food at any of our offices. Instead, we encourage you to donate to a local food bank or other organization that can provide assistance to the many individuals struggling with food insecurities this year. Missing our human clients has been one of the hardest parts of the pandemic for us but If we can continue to keep healthy, we can continue to be here for our patients and clients when they need us most.
The doctors and staff wish to thank each and every one of you. We love our jobs and being able to see your pets and experience their love has helped us get through some very difficult days.
Thank you for your continued support of Stow Kent Animal Hospital.
Stay safe friends!
We interrupt your Saturday to view this cute piggie!
We assured Argento he had passing grades on his report card but apparently he wasn’t convinced enough to show his parents..... 😂
