Message from Owner: o everyone my name is Angela. My bird just flew away around 1:30pm today in the Kent/Covington area near Lake Meridian Park and Costco, his name is Poncho, and I was hoping if I could ask for your help if anyone sees/or catches him please let me know. He's a green cheek conure and he's very friendly. He likes seeds and fruit and will 'step up' onto your finger when told to. I honestly don't know what to do and would deeply appreciate if anyone could help me, I just want him safe and sound. Thank you very much for your time and help.

Hey folks! Our lovely Sharon and myself are running the shop as usual tomorrow, Tuesday. We are are slated to have up to 65 mph winds starting about 4pm. They will be coming from the east, and both she and I live at the base of the Cascade foothills, so we will likely be closing the shop at 3:30 pm. Neither of us feel safe driving in the high winds and don't want branches coming at us like daggers on all of the back roads we have to drive on to get to our homes. That being said, we do apologize in advance for any inconvenience. If the storm doesn't hit us, we'll certainly stay, of course. If you are planning on coming in after 3 pm please give us a call at 253-437-1312 to make sure we are still in the shop! Thanks for understanding, and we want all of you to be safe!

On another note, please remember if you lose your power, we are happy to board your feathered companions in a warm place with lots of fun! It's rare that we lose our power there!

One of our local fire chiefs who just had to come get some Cheeto love! We also have our police department in at times! They are aware of our pets in the building and we do keep in regular contact with both departments. They all love to go eat next door at Saya!
