CSNIP Providing accessible, high-quality, reduced-cost veterinary care. More than 20 years later, and we now do upwards of 15,000 surgeries a year.

In November 1998, a small group of West Michigan Animal Welfare advocates met to address the need for a reduced-fee dog and cat sterilization clinic open to the public. These dedicated individuals first raised the funds for a mobile spay/neuter clinic and a few years later, a stationary clinic. Generous individuals, companies and granting organizations make it possible for us to keep our fees low

but our quality of care high. C-SNIP has expanded its services to include preventative veterinary care. Our vision is that all dogs and cats will be healthy, happy and in loving homes. We empower caregivers to break the cycle of pet overpopulation and health-related pet surrender by providing high-quality, reduced cost spay/neuter and wellness services. We believe that accessible veterinary care improves the lives of the animals, the people who love them and the community in which they live. If you believe the same thing, please consider becoming a donor.

For the past 24 years, CSNIP has been the leading nonprofit veterinary clinic in West Michigan, specialized in providing spay/neuter surgery for dogs and cats.

In 2021, we opened our Community Well Pet Clinic to meet the community need for reduced-cost wellness/prevention services and basic treatments, including dental. We offer vaccines and treatments for a variety of pet needs. Around 50% of our clients reported that we are their primary care veterinarian, which serves as confirmation that we are providing a needed service for a significant number of our constituents.

Do you use flea/tick prevention on your cat? Even if your cat is strictly indoors, monthly flea/tick prevention is still recommended because they can carry diseases and cause skin irritation. Other pets could bring fleas inside or you could even bring them in on your clothing! Now that it's getting closer to spring, it's time to start thinking about your preventative plan. CSNIP sells Catego for $12 per dose, which is a topical product that prevents and kills both fleas and ticks.

One of the preventions that CSNIP recommends for your dog is the Heartworm prevention. Heartworms come from a mosquito bite and in extreme cases, can become fatal for your pet. It can cause permanent damage to their hearts. The good news is that this is easily preventable!

CSNIP offers Heartworm testing a treatment (if positive). The best way to protect your pet is to give them a once monthly pill to keep them safe and healthy.

We are on a mission to raise $2500 for Annie's Feral Cat Fund, and we are just $1300 away from our goal! In honor of World Spay Day, we have an incredible matching opportunity. Every donation helps subsidize the cost of spay/neuter for feral cats, which is only $25 per cat. With your support, we can ensure that more of these community cats receive the care they need. Join us in making a significant impact in our community and help us reach our goal. Together, we can create a healthier future for our feral feline friends.

For World Spay Day 2025, we aim to raise $5,000 to cover surgical and care costs for 100 feral cats. Every donation will be matched up to $2,500 by a generous supporter. The cost to spay or neuter one cat is $75, with community trappers contributing $25. This leaves a gap of $50 per procedure, which we seek to fill through community partnerships. Your support for Annie's Feral Cat Fund can make a significant impact in controlling the feral cat population. Together, we can make a difference.

Since 2018, CSNIP has offered a special subsidized Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) program for feral cats to reduce overpopulation by the humane application of spay/neuter procedures for these wild animals.

In the spring of 2021, Annie, a long-time member of CSNIP's staff team passed away unexpectedly. Feral cats were always one of her passions. To honor our colleague, this CSNIP program is now called "Annie's Feral Cat Fund".

For just $25, a feral community cat that is live-trapped and brought to CSNIP through this program will be spayed/neutered, ear-tipped, and vaccinated. The trapper then agrees to return this cat back to the trap site after surgery.

During the month of February, we are raising money for this fund. Every dollar that we raise is going toward making sure that we can continue to offer this program at a reduced rate. Preventing unwanted litters is crucial for helping to keep the feral cat population low.

This Valentine's Day, we're celebrated the special bond between pets and their families! Join us in sharing the love by showcasing your pets for a chance to be featured on our social media channels. Pets are not just animals. They are cherished family members who bring joy and companionship into our lives. Let's embrace this opportunity to highlight their importance.

Since 2001, CSNIP has offered high-quality, reduced-cost spay/neuter services to dog and cat owners in the West Michigan area. For 18 years, spay/neuter was the only service we offered, and while spay/neuter services may not be the only thing we do anymore, they are still central to our mission.

CSNIP believes strongly in spaying and neutering pets as the best means to prevent overpopulation. In our 24-year history, we have provided these services to more than 247,000 animals. Reaching this number has been achievable, in large part, by the support of our donors who have helped us maintain reduced-cost fees for those pet owners unable to afford traditional veterinary fees.

Although our services target pet owners who are unable to access or afford traditional veterinary care, but we are open to all who seek that care.

Please help us prevent overpopulation and to help keep our costs low donating today.

CSNIP's Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) program works to improve the lives of free-roaming and feral cats in our community and reduce the unnecessary euthaniasia of healthy cats that are not suitable for adoption.

Community cats are unowned cats that live outdoors in the community. They may be feral or friendly, may have been born into the wild, or may be lost or abandoned pets.

Through Annie's Feral Cat Fund, we are able to provide spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, and ear tipping for just $25. Please help us to keep our reduced-cost spay/neuter rates by donating today.

Spaying and neutering are essential for responsible pet ownership. By reducing the number of unwanted animals in our community, we can significantly reduce euthanasia rates in shelters. Every year, millions of cats and dogs face life-threatening conditions due to overpopulation.

Additionally, spaying and neutering offer crucial health benefits, including lowering the risk of certain cancers and reproductive diseases. Here at CSNIP, we are raising funds the month of February to assist in maintaining our services at reduced rates.

Please click the link below to donate today to help maintain the health of pets in our community.
