Hopefully you are as excited as a husky about the approaching snow storm! Please note that as of right now we are planning on conducting normal business hours and scheduled appointments.

That will very likely change as conditions unfold for the next several days so please stay tuned.

If you don’t hear from us and we don’t hear from you we will assume you are coming for your scheduled appointment. If we do close early or all together we will reach out to you AND post an update.

However, we want everyone to stay safe of course. We understand and anticipate cancelations. The more notice you can provide the better but we will not be enforcing our 24 hour cancelation fee.

We will do our best to reschedule you as soon as possible but can’t make any promises as to how long that might take.

Good evening Handsome Hounds families! We would like to begin by thanking you again for your patience over the last several months. I’m sure you’ve noticed we have been navigating some painful staffing shortages and changes.

This has resulted in a lot of missed phone calls and extended grooming appointments which can be frustrating. But please keep in mind we’ve been determined to focus on the service we provide and the overall well being of the dogs in our care.

We can assure you it will have been well worth the wait when you get to know our newest team member!! Her name is Holly and she brings with her an invaluable amount of experience in grooming and veterinary medicine. We are SO fortunate to bring her onboard!

With the extra support we are working more dogs in and actually using the waiting list again!! If you’re wondering if we can squeeze you in give us a call and we might be able to make something work yet before Christmas!!!🎄

And again PLEASE keep in mind the fact that your appointment spot is saved just for you. You receive two text reminders as well as a phone call for an appointment you made!

It’s beyond frustrating when you don’t show up or are late and we aren’t able to fill your spot. This not only takes another clients opportunity to have their dog groomed but you take away a groomers opportunity to make a living and a small businesses opportunity to keep their doors open.

We understand that things come up and emergencies happen but please at least communicate and respect our time and what we do. This isn’t a hobby, it’s our passion.

Unfortunately we are temporarily short staffed due to illness. We apologize in advance as it will most likely effect how long it will take us to complete your dogs groom and to return messages. We appreciate your patience as our main priority is and always will be the wellbeing of the dogs we are caring for.

Also, we are currently booking out until late January/early February for most full haircuts depending on size, coat and breed. For less technical services like baths and trims we have a little more flexibility but we strongly encourage scheduling out multiple appointments versus waiting until the last minute.

We are excited to announce you to our new Dog Stylist Abby. She graduated from the Paragon School of Pet Grooming in 2018 and has enjoyed making dogs look and feel their best ever since. Animals have been her passion since she can remember and she puts her heart into every dog that steps on her table.

Abby is also the owner of the Trail Hound Collar company providing durable waterproof dog gear which is now showcased in our lobby.

Outside of grooming Abby loves everything outdoors. She has a blue heeler named Scout who accompanies her on all adventures. Their favorite thing to do together is kayaking.
