Keokuk Animal Services Our purpose is to provide shelter, food, and care for lost and homeless animals, while making every effort to reunite them with their family. to 5:00P.M.

The Keokuk Animal Services facility is located at 249 Carbide Lane, Keokuk, Iowa 52632 and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 1:00 P.M. Keokuk’s Animal Control Officer, is available from 8:30 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday. Our phone number is 319-526-5421. In case of emergency, the Animal Control Officer can be reached by calling 319-524-2741, that will connect you to the dispatch center. Once you are connected, press option #1.

Save the date!!! Next Saturday June 28th we will be having a fundraiser DOG WASH from 9-noon in front of the Keokuk Police Department. There is no charge but free will donations will be greatly appreciated! Bring your dirty dogs on down to get scrubbed and rubbed!!!🐾🐾🐾

Introducing CHASE a 2 year old male Boxer Mix. This sweet boy loves everyone he meets, is good with with other dogs, cats and children. He is house trained and crate trained. A huge THANK YOU to Dr Brookhart for coming in after hours to help save this precious boy!!! We think he may have been hit by a car on the bypass. Thankfully he has no broken bones and does not appear to have any internal injuries. He is very painful all over and received 8 stitches in his front leg. He was given some pain meds and is resting comfortably at the shelter for now. Prayers for a speedy recovery sweet boy!!!

Take a look at this pretty girl!!! Introducing MOON a 10 month old Husky mix. MOON is as sweet as they come, she is great with children, other dogs and cats. She is house trained and crate trained.
