Keokuk Animal Services Our purpose is to provide shelter, food, and care for lost and homeless animals, while making every effort to reunite them with their family. to 5:00P.M.

The Keokuk Animal Services facility is located at 249 Carbide Lane, Keokuk, Iowa 52632 and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 1:00 P.M. Keokuk’s Animal Control Officer, is available from 8:30 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday. Our phone number is 319-526-5421. In case of emergency, the Animal Control Officer can be reached by calling 319-524-2741, that will connect you to the dispatch center. Once you are connected, press option #1.

Oh so pretty! And Oh so sweet! Please welcome CALLY a 1 year female German Shepherd mix. This girl is the bomb!!! Doesn't know a stranger, good with most other dogs, house trained, walks well on a leash, quite and calm and obviously gorgeous!!! She wants nothing more than your undevided attention and will bathe you in kisses if you let her!!! If you would like to meet CALLY our hours are from 1-5 on Monday-Friday. (However we are not open Labor Day this coming Monday.) We can usually accommodate after hours visits if you private message us here to make arrangements.

Another adorable addition to our available for adoption dogs. This is COSMO a 2 year old male Terrier mix that is a "social butterfly"! He can't get enough attention and loves everyone he meets! He is good with other dogs and loves to play! COSMO has lots of energy would thrive in an active home. This precious guy is a great smaller size weighing around 30 lbs. Introducing FRITZ an adorable approximately 2 year old male Puggle. This little guy is so stinking cute and just as sweet! He loves attention, is good with other dogs, seems to be house trained, quiet and well behaved! He is the perfect smaller as size, likely weighing under 30 lbs. Mark your calendars! KAS/ KASPIR will be hosting a Fundraiser DOG SPLASH BASH on Tuesday Sept. 2nd from 4-7 pm at the Keokuk Aquatic Center. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the shelter from 1-5 on on Monday-Friday or that evening. Tickets are $10 per dog. Proof of current rabies is required. Hope to see you there for a super fun event!!!

Need we say more!?!?! But of course we will! Gorgeous RIVER is a 1 1/2 year old female Lab. She is just at as sweet and friendly as she is beautiful! She is calm, quiet and gentle! She is a big girl weighing around 90 lbs. She does seem to do well with other dogs. If you would like to meet RIVER our hours are from 1-5 on Monday-Friday.
