With the leaves falling off the trees it allows for more visibility for the M30T drone to do what it does best- detecting heat signatures! There are many situations where this drone can be helpful. To name a few:
If you think you may have a biological hazard ( i.e. dead animal) on your property, give us a call to have a hazard survey completed. Once the call is placed, a commercially licensed drone pilot will come to your property, thoroughly survey the land, and will give you the location of any located biological hazards for you to dispose of properly at a later time, or to better assist you in avoiding these areas with family, friends, and pets. Please note that depending on the size of the animal, the drone can detect heat up to 48 hours after death.
Speaking of pets, UAV Services also offers pet and livestock recovery for those animals who decided to take too long of a walk and their owners would like to bring them home.
UAV Services was able to assist Fort Madison Fire Department in locating a boat that had a fire onboard and was currently disabled while drifting down the Mississippi River. Our drone was not only able to locate the vessel but also able to provide real time feedback to first responders back on shore. This ensured the fire had been put out, that there was no immediate threat to the safety of the people on board, as well as ensuring no one was injured.
After being lost for just over 24 hours, we are so glad we could help get Maggie back home yesterday evening!
We conducted a practice flight this evening just as the sun was setting. It does not take long for the thermal heat of the sun to dissipate after setting. This allows us to accurately pick up heat signatures of animals/ humans.
