I’m a 1 ½-year-old blue merle Collie, weighing around 55 pounds. My previous owner had to move to another state and had hoped to come back for me, but unfortunately, that didn’t work out. I’m housetrained, crate trained, and I walk pretty well on a leash. I love playing with toys and swimming! I’m also scheduled for a check-up and neuter this week.

I’m a 2-year-old collie girl, weighing in at 65 pounds. My person was moving and couldn’t take me along, so I ended up in rescue. I’m a fun-loving girl who doesn’t mind playing solo — I’ll toss toys in the air and go fetch them! I’m housetrained and crate trained, and I do well on a leash and in the car. I get along great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and I’m ready to be the best companion and friend to my new family.

I’m a 1-year-old Collie, weighing about 65 pounds. My brother Stiller and I were brought to the animal shelter by our breeder when they couldn’t find buyers for us. At first, I was nervous about coming inside, which is why I wore a leash, but I got over that quickly! I’m a friendly, happy guy who gets along well with other dogs. I’m learning to walk on a leash, making great progress with house training, and I’ve already mastered crate training. I’ve had a vet checkup, a bath, and I’ve been neutered. As the rescue gets to know me better, my bio will be updated!

I'm a 2-year-old, smooth, blue merle Collie girl, weighing around 50 pounds. I’m here at the rescue because my family couldn’t keep me anymore. I’m housetrained, crate trained, and walk wonderfully on a leash. I also know basic commands. The rescue will update my bio as they get to know me better!

I’m a three-year-old sable and white collie girl, weighing about 55 pounds. I was found as a stray, so not much is known about my past. So far, I’ve visited the groomer and have an upcoming appointment for vaccinations and to be spayed. I’m still learning some manners, like staying out of the trash and not jumping on people. I’m crate trained, walk pretty well on a leash, and haven’t had any accidents inside. I get along great with other dogs and don’t mind cats at all!

I’m a 2-year-old tri-color girl weighing around 55 pounds. I was found as a stray, so not much is known about my past. I’ve already visited the groomer and have an upcoming appointment for vaccinations and spaying. I’m still learning some manners, like staying out of the trash and not jumping on people. I’m definitely still a playful puppy and love to do puppy things! I’m crate trained, do well on a leash, and haven’t had any accidents in the house. I get along well with other dogs and don’t mind the cats.

1/10/25: I wanted to share an update on my progress and express my deep gratitude to all the kind people who have donated toward my care. When I first arrived, I absolutely refused to come inside the house and would run away whenever I saw someone holding a leash. They eventually figured out how to earn my trust by hiding the leash and offering me treats. I struggled with the three steps leading into the house and needed help getting up them, but over time, I started to feel more comfortable. I eventually decided I wanted to come inside and would approach the steps when the door opened.

Yesterday, I took a huge step—literally! I made it onto the deck all by myself when I wanted to come in. Now, I’m going up and down like the other dogs. I have my very own room with a cozy dog bed to sleep on, and while I’m eating pretty well, I’m told it’s not quite enough to satisfy everyone. I get pain meds twice a day to help with my stiff joints and aging bones.

At some point, I had vestibular syndrome, which has left me with a permanent head tilt. You might also notice my nose—it’s a little pink, and the vet says I have something called “collie nose,” which is a form of lupus. We’re working on a treatment plan, and in the meantime, I need to stay out of the sun or use sunscreen when I’m outside.

I’m being well cared for, getting plenty of butt rubs, and I’m happy to say I’m officially a house dog now! Thank you again to everyone who has supported me along the way.

Sadie, a senior collie, is in need of help.

My name is Sadie, and at 13 years old, I consider myself an old lady. I’ve always lived outdoors and this is the only life I’ve ever known, so I didn’t realize things could be any different. But last night, for the first time, I slept in a warm house, though it took a lot of encouragement to get me inside the unfamiliar place. I’m in pretty rough shape, and I’ve never had any veterinary care. But now, I understand that will change. I’ll be heading to the vet for a check-up, bloodwork, f***l test, vaccinations, and a heartworm test. I’ll likely stay with Miss Jean for a while, since I need plenty of medical attention, and adjusting to this better life isn’t going to be easy for me. If you would like to help with my medical needs just click the link below.

I’m a 10-month-old, sable merle 48-pound sweetheart with a loving personality. I get along with everyone, including cats, and I’m a very friendly puppy. I’m crate trained, doing well with housetraining, and I walk nicely on a leash while learning basic commands. I love playing with others and enjoy toys, but I also appreciate a good chew bone and a soft bed to relax in. I recently spent some time in a new home, but unfortunately, the resident female dog didn’t like me. I’m confident the right family will come along for me soon!

I am a 2-year-old, sable merle, handsome boy weighing around 72 pounds. Unfortunately, my owner is now in poor health and can no longer care for me. I have been well-loved and well cared for. I’m housetrained, crate trained, and I know basic commands. I walk nicely on a leash and get along well with other dogs. While I don’t mind cats, I might chase them if they run. I’m also learning to keep my feet on the floor and not jump up.

At just three years old, life hasn’t been kind to this sweet collie girl. I’ve had several litters of puppies, I have heartworms that will be treated, and I’m missing part of my front paw pad, though I’m hopeful it will heal over time. Despite everything, I’m a happy, loving little girl. I was lucky to be rescued as a stray by the shelter and brought to CRC. I’m doing great with house training and crate training. I get along well with both cats and other dogs— as long as they don’t try to sniff my behind! I’m done having puppies and will protect that until I can be spayed. I’m also learning basic commands and working on loose leash walking.

12/22/24: Well, folks, it looks like I’m a bit naked right now, having lost most of my coat. Pregnancy can really take a toll on the body’s nutrients, which often causes excessive shedding as it recovers. But don’t worry, my fur will grow back soon and look beautiful again. I’ve already had my heartworm treatment and am doing just fine. Next up, I’ll be spayed and ready to find my forever home. I also wanted to share how well I get along with the cats—they seem to like me too!
