🕷️ Exotics Unlimited is Hiring! 🕷️

Do you love animals—especially the eight-legged kind? Want to turn your passion for critters into a career? Exotics Unlimited is growing, and we’re on the hunt for motivated, animal-loving individuals to join our team near Kernersville, NC!

We're currently looking for someone to help with:

Packing and shipping tarantulas (yes, it’s as cool as it sounds!)
Feeding and caring for tarantulas and other invertebrates
Assisting with all things bug life in our invertebrate branch

💰 Pay starts at $15/hr after training, with performance-based raises (no waiting months just because!).

Must be able to work at least 20 hours a week between the hours of 9am to 6pm EST!

We're looking for committed, positive, and generally healthy folks who have a growth mindset and are eager to learn. Experience is a plus, but a good attitude is better—we’ll train the right person!

At Exotics Unlimited, we’re not just coworkers—we’re a crew of passionate hobbyists who care deeply about our animals and customers. Our goal? Happy, healthy critters delivered safely to their new homes.

Also known as the Spiny Flower Mantis, this gorgeous species boasts vibrant colors that range from a white base to pink with striking stripes!

✨ Wings that Wow: Adult mantises show off wing cases with mesmerizing eye spots and wings that transition from yellow to pink.
🌱 Color-Changing Nymphs: Younger nymphs start out black and gradually change colors after a molt or two.

This species is known for its wide backplate, giving it a shield-like appearance even in its early stages. It grows to a max size of 3.5 to 4 inches and has a vibrantly colored underside that helps scare off predators!

Ornithoctoninae sp. Hon-sej (Blue Blaze Tarantula) adult female

This dwarf species has a STUNNING blue and orange coloration that is truely breathtaking!

Reaching about 3.5" this dwarf earth tiger is a total knockout when it comes to color and is arguably the most colorful and stunning fossorial/terrestrial species known to science.

With higher ambient humidity, I have noticed my females on the surface waiting for prey to come near. With a larger surface area, I have also noticed my adults will run out after food, so they also seem to be more visible than many other species that are fossorial tube dwellers.

Phormingochilus sp. ‘Sabah Red’ juvenile female 2-2.5” we shipped out today. One of the most stunning species me boy was it hard to let her go. It’s truly one of the few species that was more impressive in person than the photos. I spent 30 minutes just taking photos - I have more so don’t worry ;) You can see this female is already showing her reds with that neat green carapace. She will only get better!
