💙 Bluey is looking for a new place to call home.

He loves pets and does well being picked up. Bluey has an incredibly sweet temperament and is always eager for attention.

He is 9 months old. He has luxuriously soft plush fur. These pictures don't do him justice and he is going through a molt right now.

He is a Mini Plush Lop weighing less than 4.5 lbs.

He is lightly VM marked (meaning he has a white spot on his chin and one of his paws has white on the tip. Absolutely adorable!)
His coloring is Blue and he carries chocolate.

He has half import bloodlines! His parents are Sweet Huckleberry Farm Mochi & Picturesque Plush Lops Jinxiee.

I'm only rehoming him because he is so closely related to my girls & I'm expecting Bluey's first babies next month. 🤞

🐰️He would make a wonderful breeder or pet! 🐰Bluey is litter box trained.

Bunnies are incredibly cute and people have an impulsive behavior for cute things. I admit it, I do as well.. I see something so cute, I must have it! 😬 This even goes for cute animals..like bunnies.

Bunnies can make the best pets if you put in the time and work! Most people do not know the amount of time and work it can take to make this happen.
So, when someone sees the cutest baby bunny, they think this will be a great gift for my kids or an easy pet that I can keep in a tiny cage.
Wrong!!! They need space to run, jump and explore. They can be expensive to take to the vet for any reason, they require a exotic vet.. and neutering/spaying is ridiculously expensive..$200-$1000 just for that. Most people can't afford this, especially for more than 1 bunny, so that leads to unwanted litters, abandoned Bunnies and even worse..

This is a huge reason why I have very few litters yearly and I make sure my bunnies are in wonderful homes with responsible bunny parents. Getting a bunny from me, you are basically family and I will check up on you if I don't hear from you 😅 I just want to make sure everything is going well and if you ever need anything..I'll help if I can! This even means taking the bunny back. Life happens and that's understandable. I'm here for you! ❤️

With Petco selling Bunnies this will just continue this endless cycle of these issues. These stores don't know anything about these bunnies or even care what happens to them. All they see is 💰💰 and that's it! Once you walk out that door with that cute bunny, you are on your own!
Also buying for a petstore, you are supporting backyard breeders..you know the ones that keep them in the worst conditions, don't care about health issues, breeding non-stop..it's exactly like a puppy mill. They only keep the ones they think they can sell and the others..well they don't stand a chance. It's heartbreaking. 😭
This is not something I take lightly!
Bunnies are one of the most precious creatures on this planet and they are also one of the most abandoned pets.

If you are like me and tend to buy hay from tractor supply in the big compress bales please be mindful of foxtails. I have never had this issue before but this last bale I bought has had a ton of foxtails in it.

I pay attention to my bunnies daily, examining them. I noticed yesterday a foxtail was near a tear duct of my girl Tootsie, she is such a good girl she just sat there and let me grab it. Then maybe a hour later I saw another foxtail in my boy Bluey's fur..I pulled it out, which was difficult in his super dense Plush fur.

Then today I noticed my baby girl Diamond had discharge coming out of her eye. I gently cleaned it and examined it..sure enough a large foxtail was inside her eye. It broke off in 2 pieces!! I had to use tweezers to remove it, then cleaned her eye and applied some medicine for eyes. This was not pleasant at all..poor girl 🥺

I am so thankful I pay attention to all my bunnies. I notice things quickly so I can treat before things turn worse. I'm now closely monitoring my baby girl and I am so upset by this issue. I'm praying she will be okay.
Foxtails are the worst! 😡😡

I just wanted to make others aware that this could happen and to always pay close attention to our fur babies. They can't tell us if something is wrong.

I got the best surprise in the mail today. I have always loved Chewy.com but now I love them even more. This present was completely unexpected and it literally made me tear up. I can not believe someone would do this for me.
If you follow my page you probably know how much I love Buster. This will be a forever keepsake. ❤️
I highly recommend chewy over other pet stores. Photo of my Buster for reference. He is the best boy and he started my whole bunny obsession.

I have no plans of another litter as of yet. If I do happen to bre3d it will be awhile from now and will be our last litter of the year! We only have 1-2 litters a year! I do this so I will not be overwhelmed (I want to continue to raise my babies how I do!) And I do NOT want to contribute to the overpopulation of bunnies.

Let's discuss spaying/neutering!

Although we do not require for pet homes, I always highly recommend it for a blissful bunny experience.

When bunnies reach maturity (4-6 months), they may develop issues, but altering them can prevent problems and ensure a happy, healthy companion!

Please do your own research and find a bunny-savvy vet near you.

As always I recommed doing your own research!
