💕 Happy, Happy Adoption Day! 💕

Hi all….its Zippy. Just look where I am. I am in my new Mom’s arms. That’s right! I am adopted!

If there was ever love at first holding, it happened when my new Mom held me. I just melted in her arms. I am very timid so being held makes me feel safe. Mom said she would hold me as long as I need. I don’t even look afraid in this picture!

I also have a new Dad and a younger human friend. I don’t do well alone but my Mom works from home so I will have someone with me. Of course, if she needs to go somewhere, I have 2 other family members! This is perfect! I also have no doubt I will gain confidence as I get older. I’m still just a baby.

I want to thank everyone who put in an application for me. I really appreciate you wanting to give me a good home. As always, many thanks to all the incredible PNK supporters for making a very scared little shelter dog’s dream of a stable forever home come true.

Hi all…..it’s Truffles. Here I am at my vet appointment this morning. I am on guard duty to protect my Foster Mom from all the other people coming in. I took my job very seriously and barked at them but no one paid a lot of attention. The vet tech didn’t either so back together we went. I just have to let them know I’m there. Everybody loved me and I did great with everyone.

I am happy to report my exam went well and all my screenings were good. They agreed my age was around 1-2 years and I weighed in at 12.8 pounds. I am a healthy boy who is now ready to be adopted! Applications can be found on our website or at the top of this page.

I hope the next picture you see of me I will be in my forever home.

Hi all….its Truffles. Words cannot describe how much better I feel after my spa day today. I have been running, playing, and jumping for joy! I stopped just long enough for Foster Mom to snap this picture. Many thanks to our wonderful friend Jennifer at All Things Dogs for my amazing transformation!

I am now ready for my exam and screenings tomorrow, January 16th. If all goes well, I will be ready to be adopted! Applications can be found at the top of this page or on our website.

For those who may not have met me yet: I am an approximate 1-2 year old neutered male Bichon mix. I weigh around 13 pounds. I do not shed.

I am now house trained in my Foster home. We found out today I do great with children! I may bark at you at first, but I am friendly to everyone. I absolutely love my toys and do great with all my canine siblings. I am quite the cuddle bug and lap baby.

Hi all….its Zippy. I don’t think I’ll be doing much zipping this evening. My eyelids are very heavy. But don’t I look so cute?

I’m happy to report my neuter went well today, my exam found no issues, and all my screenings were good. I was aged 1 year and weighed in at 11 pounds.

I am still searching for my forever home. Just a few updates about me…I do not like being alone. I would do better with someone that is home more than not. I am 100% lap baby and love to be held. I do well with my canine siblings, but I really love you! House training is going well. I have wiry hair and will shed very little. I am sweet and friendly to everyone. I am just a baby waiting for someone to love! Applications can be found on our website or at the top of this page.

I haven’t had much appetite lately, but Foster Mom said it was very important that I eat so I can take my meds. I’m going to try.

Hi everyone!

My name is Truffles and I recently joined the PNK family. My paperwork reads I am an approximate 1-2 year old neutered male Bichon. I weigh around 13 pounds. I was found as a stray, taken to a shelter, and no one came for me.

As you can see, I am quite a mess. I am filthy and matted. My Foster Mom did cut the hair out of my eyes so I could see. I have hair loss on my backside, most likely from a flea infestation( Pic in comments). We will be visiting our wonderful friend Jennifer at All Things Dogs soon for a much needed bath and groom.

PNK doesn’t know much about me yet, but I did great on the ride from the shelter to my foster home. I have been very sweet and friendly. I am getting along well with my canine siblings. A little too early to know about house training, but it only took a second to figure out the doggie door which I have been using to potty. I definitely want to be around my people. More information will be provided as we all get to know each other.

My exam and screenings are scheduled for this Thursday, January16th. If all is good, I will be ready to join you! Applications can be found on our website or at the top of this page.

💕 Happy, Happy Adoption Day 💕

Hi all…its Mickey. Guess where I am? That’s right! I am in my forever home! We made it right before the snow started falling Friday. I am adopted! Yippee!

Can’t you just feel the love looking at this picture? Sometimes fate takes us right where we need to be. Not just where I need to be, but sometimes where my family needs to be too. I have adjusted very quickly. It’s like I have always lived here. What a wonderful, sweet, and loving Mom and Dad I have. This is the life!

I have come a long way in a short time. I came to PNK so matted I couldn’t even see. Just look at me now! I want to thank everyone who put in an application for me. I heard there were a lot! I really appreciate you wanting to give me a good home. As always, many thanks to all the amazing PNK supporters for making another little shelter dogs dream come true!

Hi everyone!

My name is Zippy and I joined the PNK family just yesterday! My paperwork reads I am an approximate 1 year old male terrier mix. I weigh around 12 lbs. I was found as a stray, taken to a shelter, and no one came for me.

PNK doesn’t know a lot about me yet, other than I am such a cutie! I can be timid at first, but warm up quickly. I absolutely love to be held. I like to rest my head on your shoulder. It makes me feel safe. I’m doing great with all my canine foster siblings. Having wiry hair I should shed very little. As far as house training, I’ve had a few accidents, but did go to the door.
Everything is still very new.

My neuter, exam,and screenings are scheduled for this Tuesday, Jan. 14th. I’ll be ready to join you soon after. Applications can be found on our website or at the top of this page.

Hi all…it’s Mickey. You caught me just as I was asking Foster Mom if I could go over and say hello to all the nice people and dogs walking in and out of the vet’s office. I really wanted to say hello to them all! My little tail wagged the whole time I was there. Everybody talked about what a good boy I am. Plus, I’m just so darn cute.

I got a great report too! My exam found no issues and all my screenings were good! Yay! They agreed I am around 1 year of age and I weighed in at 13.2 lbs.

Hi all…it’s Mickey. Wow, do I feel and look so much better! I’m pretty sure I lost a few pounds with all of the matts I had. I did great though! Many thanks to our wonderful friend Jennifer at All Things Dogs for making me so handsome!

For those who may not have met me yet : my paperwork reads I am an approximate 1 year old neutered male Shih Tzu. We are thinking Maltipoo. I do not shed. I weigh around 13 pounds. Maybe a little less.

So what have we learned? In foster care, I have been amazing to care for. I am house trained and sweet and friendly to everyone, including children. I do well with my canine foster siblings. I ride very well in a vehicle. I am not overly vocal. I love my belly rubs, and a good lap to snuggle in.

I am now ready for my exam and screenings tomorrow, Jan. 8th. I’ll let you all know how I do. If all is well, I will be ready to be adopted! Applications can be found on our website or at the top of this page.

Hi everyone!

My name is Mickey and I joined the PNK family today! My paperwork reads I am an approximate 1 year old neutered male Shih Tzu mix. I weigh around 13-15 lbs. I was turned in as a stray, and no one came for me.

The nice folks at the shelter gave me a medicated bath because I was filthy and covered in fleas. But, I obviously need a groom. We will be visiting our wonderful friend Jennifer at All Things Dogs soon. I am very matted so I will probably have to be cut/ shaved pretty short. But this pretty white hair will grow back.

PNK doesn’t know much about me right now, but I did awesome in the vehicle riding from the shelter to my foster home. I have been very sweet and friendly to everyone. PNK will provide more information as we all get to know each other. Right now, I just want to decompress from stray and shelter life.

My exam and screenings are scheduled for next Wednesday, Jan. 8th. If everything checks out well, then I will be ready to join my family! Applications can be found on our website or at the top of this page. I am being fostered in Kernersville, NC.

🎉 I am home for the New Year! 🎉

Hi all…it’s Elfie. I may not have made it home for Christmas, but I am home now! I was adopted today!

It was so worth the wait. You can just see the love in this picture. I have the best new Mom and Dad a pup could ask for. I walked right in and made myself at home. It’s easy when your favorite things are waiting on you. They had my beloved toys, sliced carrots, and belly rubs! All unlimited. Well, maybe not the carrots but the toys and belly rubs are! Let the spoiling begin!

I have certainly come a long way from a filthy, severely matted stray to the happy pup I am today. I want to thank everyone who put in an application for me. I really appreciate you wanting to give me a good home. I also want to send out a very special thank you to my incredible Foster parents for opening your heart and home to me. As always, many thanks to all the PNK supporters for making yet another shelter dogs dream come true.

🎄💕Happy Holiday Update 🎄💕

Hi everyone!

Does everybody remember me? It’s Chewy! I’m the little guy who had to have his right front leg amputated. I wanted to let everyone know I am doing great! I also wanted to share my holiday picture. Just look at that big happy smile! 😀

I am completely comfortable on 3 legs. It took a bit to get used to it. But, I am back to my old self… passing out kisses and spending lots of time in Mom’s lap. I also spend a lot of time with my canine brother, Ralphie. We are either cuddled up or running and playing in the backyard. We are all filled with joy.

I want to thank everyone again for your help so I could have this surgery in order to make my life comfortable and complete. You all are the best! You’re not going to find a happier guy anywhere!

Hi all….its Elfie. Everyone got their Christmas home but me. I’m not upset… just a little confused because my foster parents say I am such a good guy and so easy to care for. But we’ve got a new year coming up! I would love to be the first adoption of 2025 if not before.

Let me re-introduce myself: I am a 2 year old neutered male Shih Tzu mix. I weigh 9 lbs.

I really am a great little man. I am house trained and do not shed. I do great with all dogs. I am very loving and friendly to everyone I meet….children and adults. I walk well on a leash and sleep through the night with my foster parents. I am smart and obedient. My foster parents say I am a delight. So what are we waiting for? I’m ready! Let’s start this new year off right.

🎄 I am home for Christmas! 🎄

Hi all….its Grace. I’m so happy to share the wonderful news I have found my Home for the Holidays!

I am pictured with my beautiful new Mom and my canine brother, George. George is the best big brother a little sister could ask for! He is so sweet and gentle. He has introduced me to his other doggie friends in the neighborhood. I think he’s showing me off!

I immediately felt right at home. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the fenced backyard and have claimed my favorite place on the couch. I like to follow Mom everywhere. What a wonderful Christmas it will be for us this year.

🎄I am home for Christmas!🎄

Hi all…its Holly. I am thrilled to share I have found my forever home in time for Christmas!

I’ve come a long way! The bottom right is how I came to PNK. Terribly matted and filthy. Now just look at me all snuggled in my new Mom’s arms. I also have my Dad who is holding my new brother, Paco. What’s better than 1 PNK pup? 2 PNK pups! Paco was also adopted from PNK over 3 years ago!

Talk about a perfect match. That would be me and Paco. We are around the same age and have matching high energy levels. So a lot of our time is spent running and playing in our huge fenced in backyard. Plus of course, playing with our toys.

What a wonderful family I have. I truly won the Christmas lottery! Spoiled will not even begin to cover it. I am OK with that. I will be having a “Holly” Jolly Christmas. I just had to say it. 😄

💕 Happy, Happy Adoption Day! 💕

Hi all….its Patches. I know it’s been awhile but does everybody remember me? I am the little guy that was found in a house my family had been evicted from. They just left me there, scared and alone for weeks. I was a complete mess and had to be sedated and shaved. I was so matted plus infested with fleas.

But, look where I am now! I am home. Forever. I am pictured with my beautiful new Moms. They are sisters and I love them so much and they love me. I settled in immediately. Guess what they had waiting for me? That’s right. Toys. Oh how I love my toys. I have baskets full now. What else did I have? Treats my next favorite thing. I don’t know though. I would hate to have to choose.

So now I spend my days going from Mom to Mom, toy to toy, and lots of treats in between This is the life. What a wonderful Christmas present for us all!
