Two pets lost their way in our neighborhood and we’re trying to help. 🐈‍⬛ The cat is hiding out in the woods near the sanctuary and 🐩 the dog was found down the road off Waughtown St & Lyons St.

🩺❤️‍🩹 FOREST Update 🐾 We got a few surprises at his vet visit and we have exciting news on his next step.

👩🏻‍⚕️Forest saw Dr. Tamashiro yesterday. He is estimated to be 12 weeks old (much younger than we first thought), so he has likely felt miserable for his whole little life. His immune system is completely overloaded with mange and parasites, causing him to be anemic and have no energy. Dr. Tamashiro also noticed he has a “galloping heart rate” and did an EKG to investigate. After consulting with the vet team, we believe it’s possible all the other things Forest has going on are causing the irregular heart rhythm. For now, we will keep an eye on him and plan to recheck his heart in 2 weeks after the meds have had time to work.

🏡 The amazing news is we found a wonderful short term foster for Forest. She is a long time supporter of Fairytale Farm, has fostered a dog with mange before, has a quiet separate space in her home for Forest to rest and play, and most importantly has lots of love and healing cuddles for this baby.

🐾 This pup was found by a friend of Fairytale Farm today and he needs our help. He is young, covered in mange and was alone in the street. He is safe for the night, but we want to bring him into rescue to be treated so he can be healthy and find the family he deserves.
Our immediate need is a FOSTER 🏡 who can help us care for this baby. We will provide all the supplies and vet care, but he needs a safe place to rest and be treated like a little prince 👑 🐶 Please share and let us know if you can help!
The family that found him is offering a $250 challenge. If we can match that, we should have enough to cover his vet expenses ❤️🐾
We are NOT a dog rescue, but we love all of earth’s creatures and we know this little guy needs us 🙏🏼

Who needs a pig in their life?? We have 6 precious pigs looking for someone to love. They were rescued from an extreme hoarding situation and now waiting patiently to find their forever homes.

🐽 Piper is the spokesperson and taste tester.
🐽 Pierre is aloof and adventurous.
🐽 Prescott is silly and LOVES the mud.
