Hello all, please remember we always strive to do our very best and your patience is much appreciated! Keep in mind, appointments will be any where from 2 to 4 hours long. We will not rush a groom under any circumstances! We ask that you do not return for pick up, until called. This helps the process go much smoother for the groomer and the pet. The heat in Charleston presents a dangerous situation for people and animals. According to experts, a horse feels the heat THREE to TEN TIMES more intensely than humans (source: Prof Michael Lindinger, University of Guelph). If it's too hot for us to walk down steamy sidewalks, it's too hot for horses to be pulling tons of adults in loaded wagons around Charleston.

Please schedule ahead! Perfect time to schedule is at pick up. If your pup has a high maintenance coat we will require pre-booking. Thanks for your cooperation and helping to make our job as easy as possible. We want to keep your pups on a schedule so we won't be able to go past 3 months on low-maintenance coats or you may be considered a new client. I cannot stress enough we can't promise appointments within a reasonable time period. Booking ahead is best!!!

Hello, I am the SNAIL. I know I sometimes cause trouble by feeding on your garden plants. But please, don't kill me with poisons that cause suffering and contaminate your garden! Instead, use coffee grounds around your plants. I'll stay away, and you'll nourish the soil since coffee grounds make a great fertilizer.

If you see me stuck to a pot, don't pull me away; my protective covering will break, and I could die. And if you notice small snails following me, please leave them be. They are my delicate offspring with soft, fragile shells. Not many of them survive, but we are essential to the ecosystem and have an ancient history.

Help us survive. 🐌

Tips when choosing a groomer for your babies and questions to ask 101,
Questions;
Will a certified groomer be grooming your pup from beginning to end?
About how long does it take?
Does the shop allow dogs with fleas?
Are the dogs medicated by them while in their care?
Tips;
Please don't rush the groomer, we will call when the pet is ready for pick up.
Let us prebook your next appointment at pickup.
If you haven't brushed or bathed your pet since their last appointment, chances are they'll require a shavedown.

We take our profession very seriously and sometimes wear our hearts on our sleeves. This is not an easy job but being able to be around dogs all day makes it worth it! Please be very careful when choosing a groomer for your pup, they deserve to be treated with kindness and compassion! Just an FYI, we are busier than ever and are having to make the decision wether to continue accepting new customers. It is very important to schedule ahead because our waitlist is growing with longer wait times. We always want to make sure our regulars get in so please schedule ahead!!! Reminder, we aren't always able to answer the phone during the day so if you call and don't get an answer please leave a voicemail and we will return your call same day to next business day. We will be taking a short break in honor of Memorial Day. You are always welcome to call or leave messages but they may not be returned until Tuesday after the holiday. Also, we are in the midst of the summer rush so please let us know as soon as possible when you'll need an appointment.
