Last week at Paws On Whipp we had the pleasure of grooming Jasper to get ready for a SICSA event.
SICSA is 50 years old this year and over the weekend they held their mission and fundraising breakfast for people to get to know the services they provide.
Jasper was one of the canine greeter/hosts that helped guide patrons to their table!
SICSA provides to people and their pets and wants to help not only pets but also the people that love them!
Jasper looked very DEMURE in his tux!

🐾 Hello Paws on Whipp Family!🐾
Groom times are now taking 3-4 hours
That being said, we are implementing a new policy.
We understand that some days there are schedules to be kept but we are working with live animals and some times things don’t always go according to plan. We always try and communicate the best we can with you.
We will always contact you once your pet is ready for pick up. If you need your pet done by a certain time please let us know in advance or when scheduling your appointment.
Once your dog is aware of your presence it becomes a safety issue to continue grooming and we may not be able to safely complete the groom. So we ask that if you have not heard from us that you wait to enter the shop until you do so that we can safely complete your service.

Glory: 1 yo female terrier mix, 30-35 lbs

Glory was adopted from a high kill shelter as a small puppy by her owner. She was well loved during this time but unfortunately Glory and her owner were in a car accident. Her owner passed away from the accident. Glory was unexpectedly pulled out from the car and was taken to a high kill shelter. Imaging revealed Glory broke her right hip and leg. Glory was rescued by Adopt a Pit and while under the care of her foster family Glory underwent hip surgery. She has recovered well and already starting to put weight on her right leg! Despite her surgery she has remained a happy spirited and loving dog.

Glory is a very loving, loyal, friendly one year old pitty mix puppy. She is house trained and crate trained. She knows basic commands: sit and shake. She loves her foster dog sister’s and Glory is kid friendly. She does well on the leash and enjoys car rides. Glory enjoys her kong filled with peanut butter, antlers, and a good bone to chew on. She loves to cuddle with her humans on the couch or lay on her dog bed. When she’s in a good sleep she likes to sleep on her back. Please consider welcoming Glory into your family. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines

Good morning !
As of right now. We are booking about 3 weeks out !! Please keep this in mind when booking your apt or calling to make an apt !
We have had a lot of people calling for same day or next day apt, and we are not able to accommodate that , we unfortunately lost a groomer a couple weeks ago and the 3 we have are working very hard , long days to accommodate everyone we possibly can. Thank you for your patience and as always we appreciate each and every one of you !

We have had an EXCESSIVE amount of people showing up late for there appointments. If you show up 15 min past your appointment, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE YOU , if by chance the groomer you are scheduled with decides to take you there will be a $20 late fee. To you it may just be 15 min but to us that is the time it takes to bathe your dog so now it puts the rest of the day behind. PLEASE show up on time or EARLY to your appointment. We are very busy and our time is just as important as yours !!!

*ATTENTION*
For those of you that are brandy’s clients. She will be back in grooming next week , she will ONLY be doing small dogs at first. She is still recovering and is only 8 weeks out from a major reconstruction surgery of her leg. Please do not assume that just because she is grooming or here in the shop she can do your 100 pound doodle . In time she will get back to taking on a full schedule but until then it’s SMALL DOGS ONLY.

If you are calling and not leaving a message please know we will not
Return your call. We have no way of knowing if you are a spam caller or not so if you want a return call please leave a message or send a text. We are very busy , we have had other grooming shops reach out to us and say you are calling them and saying we are not returning your calls, But if you do not leave a message either by voicemail or text we cannot and will not be able to call you back. We are down to only 2 groomers now and no receptionist , no bather , so we are trying our hardest to keep up with any and everyone !

Being a groomer is more then just taking care of your baby once a month on their best days . We get attached to your baby as if they were our own. After 10 years of grooming phife , this morning I said goodbye to my longtime friend. I gave him his last comfort groom with his parents by his side. To say I will miss this little guy is an understatement. You are very loved buddy , and will truly be missed. ❤️

Good evening paws on whipp family.
Do the rise in seeing so many extremely matted dogs (which take longer to groom and it’s so much on the fur babies ) starting January 1st we will be requiring that you stay on a 4-12 week schedule. (Obviously this doesn’t partake to shorthaired dogs such as labs and things) That makes it so we hopefully don’t have to make your baby naked , and keeps our groomers on schedule for the day ! Thank you for understanding!
