If you want to include your pup(s) in a healthy Thanksgiving Day treat, and have an extra sweet potato or apple, you can make some sweet potato or apple chips.
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
Slice the sweet potato or apple in thin slices.
Bake in a single layer on a cookie sheet for 20-25 minutes. If the chips are more on the thicker side, they may need to bake a little longer. Check every 5 minutes until they’re golden and the outsides are curled.
No oil or salt needed. Simple, whole food, snack.
