Sweet Violet….she was hit by a car, suffered broken jaws, spent many days at Kewanee Vet Clinic, and lost much of her eyesight due to her injuries. We have been searching for someone to give her a chance, to make her a part of their home. Recently, while at the Galesburg Petsmart, we found that special lady and now Violet has a home where she feels safe and loved.

Alumni Update from Beverly- We showed Violet her litter box and have been introducing her to everyone with breaks in between. She is doing well and right now she is eating her supper. She is a gorgeous cat and very friendly. ❤️🐾❤️

After their amazingly yummy home cooked Christmas breakfast the dogs got to pick out a special toy. When Norman came back inside, went straight to the turquoise duck, and claimed it as his own. Sheba, being the princess that she is, had to inspect everything carefully and ended up with a practical but fun Kong toy. Lenny, the red Heeler was a bundle of energy and figured anything leftover was his! ❤️🐾❤️

Thank you to our amazing volunteers that not only help with cleaning, transport, and a hundred other things…….they give our Shelter animals the extra love and attention they need to help them in their journey in finding forever homes. Thank you Carol, Sandy, and George for volunteering this Christmas morning. Warm and homemade, a special Christmas meal for our pups was certainly enjoyed by all! ❤️🐾❤️

This Marley he’s about a year old.. He’s fixed and vaccinated. He still has his front claws. He’s a little lover one. He’s a big boy about 15 pounds. That is what they told me at his last visit at the vet when he got fixed, he’s a little shy! But he’s a good boy. Call 309-883-0652
