Meet Vani: A little pup who was unfortunately attacked by other stray dogs, resulting in a spinal injury.💔😢

Vani was wandering off on the streets, probably in search of food scraps. Little did she know, she would enter a different area where other adult stray dogs would take this poor little girl as a threat and attack her.

Most of the time, it’s about survival. One more dog means less food scraps in the area for them. It would be just so nice if everyone on the streets would keep one bowl outside for these souls so they don’t have to eat off of the garbage.

Vani was picked up by a stray dog, and her spine was chewed on, and she was thrown off after the intervention of a resident of the area. For one full day, Vani kept crying in pain until the reporter found us on google.

We made Vani comfortable and gave her some painkillers. We need to send her for X-rays tomorrow along with 3 more dogs.

X-rays, blood tests, and surgeries we do it all for these babies because we want to give them the best. But we can’t do it without your help 🙏

Meet Bela: Poor Bela’s jaw was broken in an accident, causing her excruciating pain 😢 Kindly donate for her surgery. 🙏

Bela is rescued by us from Guru Nanak Pura, Amritsar. When we received Bela’s video on our helpline, we couldn’t help but rescue her.

Bela’s jaw is broken badly, and she can’t shut her mouth at all 💔 which means she can’t eat or drink normally.

According to her reporter, Bela was picked up by a team a few days ago for sterlization and then was dropped back off with a broken jaw and no Sterlization.

This story does not make any sense to us, but the truth is most people don’t even know their rights. Do not let anyone pick up your area dogs. Please do a thorough check who is taking your community dogs? In Amritsar, there is only one sterlization program going on, and they are doing an honest and wonderful job. Rest, if anyone picks up your dogs, please investigate properly.

In this case, Bela is lucky to be back but with a broken jaw. Most of the time, dog haters arrange pick up of your dogs and re locate them somewhere else. So please be careful and keep an eye out.

Bela needs immediate surgery, we are waiting for our surgeon to give us first availability.

We are in an urgent need to raise $150 for her jaw surgery and post-op. Please support so Bela can live her life normally. Since we have her now, we will get her spayed, too.

When we think about getting a dog, it's easy to get caught up in the idea of buying a fancy breed from a breeder. But have you ever stopped to consider the countless pups out there on the streets and shelters who are longing for a warm home and a loving family?? These indie dogs, these precious souls, they may not come with a price tag, but let me tell you, their value is immeasurable.❤️

You might say, "I need a guard dog," or "Indie dogs don't have the looks I'm after." But let me tell you, whatever your reason may be, these Indie dogs are going to prove you wrong and if you truly want to experience the purest form of love and companionship, choosing an indie dog is the way to go.

Update on Lyle❤️

After a tragic accident with a moving train, Lyle, a well-loved community dog, suffered severe injuries that left his leg crushed. Despite his caretakers’ efforts to get him help at a government hospital in Verka, they were unable to provide the treatment he desperately needed. Thankfully, we took Lyle under our care and provided urgent surgery to save him from further infection.

Now, after his surgery, Lyle is adjusting remarkably well. He’s become a happy tripod, moving around on three legs with resilience and spirit. His pain has subsided, and he’s adapting to his new way of life with surprising ease. Lyle continues to receive love and care from our team as he heals.

I was happily living on the streets of Amritsar with my dog mama and siblings

But one uncle drove so fast that he ran me over

I got scraped so badly that all my internal organs are showing

My feeder uncle brought me to Pawsitive as he trusts Pawsitive

Meet Naru:

Naru met with an accident and was wandering off on the streets like that only for several days without any help. 😪

The wound on his leg and tail started to rot and got infected with maggots, still no one bothered to do anything for him. 💔

Finally, one kind hearted person Narinder
noticed the poor boy and decided to help him. Sometimes, it is not easy for a common person to trap the dog and take him to the vet, and that’s when organizations come handy.

did not know about us but he reached out to many NGO’s and received no response. He was so frustrated to the point where he thought that all the NGO’s are in this “animal rescue” business for selfish motive until he came across our organization.

We saw Naru’s video and immediately went to rescue him. Without taking any penny for his treatment or ambulance “petrol” we brought Naru to our shelter.

We started his treatment right away by cleaning his wound and dressings. Our vet prescribed antibiotics for his infection.

The good news is that Naru’s leg will be saved and no need of amputation. The bad news is that recovery is not going to be overnight. It will take atleast 6-8 weeks for his full recovery.

Meet Breezy:

We have a huge respect for people who take such good care of their street babies and we try our best to help them out.

Breezy’s feeder brought Breezy to us in an auto rickshaw on a cold morning few days ago. She told us that she had been spending all of her hard earned money on Breezy. She spent on Breezy whatever she made everyday.

Without taking a single penny from her, we admitted Breezy and gave our best as we do with other Pawsitive babies.

A lot of time, locals try to lure us with money to get rid of their pets but we would rather take those dogs at no charge who really need us.

Breezy has improved so much in just few days and we can’t be happier for her. Breezy’s feeder wants to keep her inside their home now so no more accidents would happen.

We wish Breezy and her feeders nothing but happiness. We are just happy that we can be a part of changing lives for dogs like Breezy 🙏❤️ with your support.

Miracles do happen!! When we rescued
"Scooter", he was dragging himself with his broken front legs.🥺 The vet said he might never walk on them again, even with surgery. But look at our handosme boy now!! It's still seem so unreal. But Scooter has beaten the odds. He's now a happy, healthy and precious boy who runs around on all four legs. He's living proof that miracles, love, and care can work wonders.

Meet Brave:

🆘️🆘️🆘️🆘️We see brutal cases on an everyday basis but some are stuck to our hearts. Brave was brought to us by a kind hearted boy and his father from Putlighar, Amritsar.

They witnessed Brave’s front legs on the railway track and a slow moving train crushing his front legs. What a heart breaking scene that must be… we can’t even imagine. The situation that we can’t imagine or hate to see, imagine these babies are living through that everyday.

Both front legs are crushed completely, since we do believe in a second chance, we need to send Brave for his urgent surgery. As the left over bones or dead flesh needs to be removed surgically. After that, we are hoping that Brave can spend his life with us on his two legs like our Bestie.

We need to raise $200 urgently for Brave’s surgery as it will be double amputation.

Please come forward and support Brave’s surgery. Please get your area dogs sterilized as that is the only way to end the suffering.

Guddi (the doll) is rescued by our team after we found out that she was abandoned in open fields on one dark cold night.

Meet Ami:

No home, no family, no love just trying to find a roti or little food is the story of millions of dogs in India.

What makes it worse, if someone hits the dog and that’s exactly what happened to Ami. Her a**s started to bleed with a prolapse. The reporter dropped Ami off in a rickshaw. Thanks to some kind people who actually care and can’t see dogs in distress.

We need to send Ami for an urgent surgery as we wait for our surgeon to give his first availability. Until then, Ami is safe and comfortable with us.
