Meet Milton:

Milton depicts a true picture of a stray dog in India; forgotten, unnoticed, injured, and ignored.😢

Milton is rescued from Majitha Road after a passerby saw him in a distressed condition. He found us on google and reached out to us. After we saw Milton’s condition, we immediately dispatched our rescue team.

Severe old injuries in his both front legs left Milton completely paralyzed. 💔 To soothe his big wound infested with maggots, poor hungry Milton dragged himself to a dirty puddle besides the garbage with the hope of finding food scraps and water.

Our hearts are full of sadness to see Milton’s condition, and we promise him that from now on, he will get nothing but the best. 🐾

To give him the best life that he deserves, we need your help and support. We need to get his X-rays and blood work done so our surgeon can determine further steps for him. 🙏

Meet Chance:

Chance, hardly 1.5 years old, was brought to us by two guys from a nearby village after they saw him dragging himself on his broken hind legs.

Upon further enquiry, we found out Chance’s family got a surgery done a couple of months ago on his legs, but when he still couldn’t walk; they threw him out of their house and left him to die what they call a “natural” death.
This is not a natural death!!!!!! You are making your pet suffer and die in a most brutal way.

Why bother buying breeds, if you can’t take care of them??? What is this “Breed Craze” in India when so many of your own indie dogs are suffering on the streets?

Chance is our permanent member now and will stay with us for rest of his life. His vet visit is still due and we will post an update after his vet visit.

🆘🆘Meet Hannibal: 🆘🆘

We see the worst cases of cruelty everyday and trust me, none of us wants to. But if we all will think, “I can’t see it” then who will rescue?

Some cases leave a mark on our hearts and souls like our beloved Cinderella who was rescued by us 2 years ago in the most brutal condition one has ever seen. But that strong girl recovered well and lived a happy life with us until she passed away with kidney issues.

Hannibal’s condition is one of the worst we have seen. His video came to us a week ago with a small rip on his mouth ( in dog fight). Our rescue team was going to rescue him when we were informed that he disappeared. Yes, Hannibal disappeared and hid himself for a week only to come back in a lot worse condition. This time, the reporter was determined to secure him overnight and first thing in the morning, our team rescued Hannibal.

His mouth is completely ripped apart infested with hundreds of maggots. After maggots were removed, our vets put sitches to repair his hanging skin.

Every time he eats or drinks, his bowl gets filled with blood or puss and now medicines.

Hannibal’s recovery will be long and we won’t be able to release him back ever. That’s when we come to you once again for help.

We need to raise $200 initially for his treatments and blood tests. Please support Hannibal 🙏

A 6-year-old girl was saved from an alleged r**e attempt by a group of monkeys in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat city. The parents of the girl, a UKG class student, registered a complaint against the unidentified accused, who has been charged under the POCSO Act and is on the run, police said on Sunday (Sep 22).

When we rescued her and saw her medical condition, we never imagined she would find such a loving and beautiful family. Seeing her filled with joy and love is more than we could have hoped for. Meet Patri:

Patri was reported on our helpline around 5:30 pm on one evening after the station master saw that a dog is hit by a train close to TaranTaran Faatak. He wasn’t crushed but definitely got his one side touched by a moving train.

If we could, we would hire a night rescue team but we don’t have enough resources, however for an emergency case, our team is kind enough to rescue even though they are tired after a whole day of work at the shelter.

Our team arrived on scene and rescued Patri by 7:00 pm. Patri had internal bleeding as his a**s and nose were bleeding. If we hadn’t rescued him at that time, he would have died a slow death by morning from all that internal bleeding.

We started his treatment right away he entered to stop his bleeding. Once he got better, we gave him some warm curd.

We sent Patri for his X-rays today to see what is the real damage. Patri has a spine fracture and not sure if he would ever walk again but one thing we are sure of he will be comfortable and loved as long as he lives.

Any help towards Patri will be greatly appreciated as we have his life time responsibility now.

This is Milo's story, a pomeranian breed dog who doesn't have hind legs and was abandoned by those he trusted the most. 💔😪

This isn't our first experience rescuing an abandoned dog, but each time we witness these innocent beings suffer, both physically and emotionally, it breaks our hearts. 💔

Milo (a name we gave him) was left behind by those he trusted the most. A man in this video found him sitting on a pile of garbage by the roadside. He offered Milo food and water, but that wasn’t enough—Milo needed a safe haven. We learned that not only was he abandoned, but he did not have hind legs. We believe that’s why his family left him on the highway, where he wouldn’t be able to survive. 💔😢

It’s infuriating how some people can abandon their pets without a second thought. His owner deliberately dumped him on a highway. How could his owner be so cruel and heartless? We hope karma catches up with Milo's former owner someday.😕

It’s incomprehensible that someone could leave him knowing he couldn't fend for himself. Despite everything, Milo is gentle and sweet, and our hearts ach, thinking about how he suffered alone for so long. We are grateful to the kind man who rescued him and saved his life.

Milo is now safe with us, and we’ll care for him until we find a loving family who will treat him like a cherished member of their family. If there’s a kind soul out there who would like to adopt or virtually adopt this sweetheart, please DM us.

Meet Barbie!! This sweet girl was rescued yesterday and has multiple wounds on her neck. She was bleeding profusely from what it seemed like dog bites.😢

Due to foul smell, not only were dogs chasing her, but also people were shooing her away. Thanks to Mr. Joban's timely report, we rushed to her aid and rescued her. Barbie was battling a high fever of 105.2, and it's heartbreaking to imagine what she endured before coming to us. We're grateful she's now in our care. Her injuries are more severe than we initially anticipated, so it's going to take a lot of time for her to fully recover.

Every day, we rescue 4-5 dogs like Barbie, and our shelter is home to over 270 furry friends. Your support means the world to us. No donation is too small when it comes to helping these precious souls. Please consider contributing today !!! 🙏

Our posts are usually all about animals and their rights, but this time we need to talk about something that's really infuriates us and as a compassionate individual and a non profit organization it's important to share this incident with you all. In India, where people worship goddesses, there are some real monsters among us who do unforgivable and unthinkable crimes.

A 31-year-old doctor named Moumita was r**ed and murdered in Kolkata, and this ain't the first time something like this has happened! It's infuriating that such people get away with it because the laws ain't strict enough.

Honestly, these rapists should be put to death, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Period !!!The pain that parents go through when they lose their child is beyond words. It's not just about protecting our daughters anymore; we have to drill into our sons' heads the need to "RESPECT WOMEN". We can't let any more parents suffer the loss of their daughter or any more daughters lose their lives to these senseless acts. It's gotta stop, and it's gotta stop now. Please share this video as much as you can so that the government can wake up and take some strict actions rather than doing politics on such sensitive issue.

Four years ago, Coco was viciously attacked with acid simply because he barked at a man. 💔😠 For four long years, .rhythm_sheel_srivastava and Coco’s family fought tirelessly in court to ensure that the culprit was held accountable.

Today, we stand together to celebrate a historic victory. The man responsible for this cruel act has been sentenced to one year in jail and a penalty of Rs 10,000. This may seem like a small sentence to some, but in a country where harming an animal often results in nothing more than a fine of 50 rupees, this verdict is monumental. It sends a powerful message: cruelty towards animals will not be tolerated, and justice will prevail.🙏🙌

This victory is not just for Coco; it is a triumph for every voice that has ever spoken up for the voiceless. It is a beacon of hope for every animal lover, every activist, and every compassionate soul.🫡

This month marks the horrible Yulin Festival in China, and our heart aches at the unimaginable cruelty that takes place during this event. More than 10 million innocent dogs are brutally killed for their meat, leaving us all devastated and determined to put an end to this barbaric tradition.

It's heart-wrenching to learn that many dogs are transported to Yulin from various parts of China, crammed into cramped conditions. Even more disturbing is the fact that festival attendees have reported seeing animals wearing collars, indicating that they were once cherished family pets cruelly stolen from their homes.

We can not remain silent in the face of such cruelty. Together, we can make a difference and bring an end to this festival of horror. Numerous petitions are circulating, gathering signatures, and amplifying our collective voice. Dogs have 'free entry' in Taj Mahal Hotel. Yes, you have heard it right !! 🐾❤️🐾❤️

Recently, during a visit to the renowned Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai, an HR professional came across a heartwarming sight. She was pleasantly surprised to see a dog peacefully sleeping at the hotel's entrance. Intrigued, she inquired with the hotel staff about this furry guest. The staff revealed that Ratan Tata, the hotel owner, had given clear instructions to treat such animals kindly if they entered the premises. This demonstrates the hotel's commitment to inclusivity, fairness, emotional well-being, and overcoming biases. It's a beautiful example of striking a balance between logic and compassion, being true to oneself, and not being concerned about others' judgments. It is also important to highlight that Ratan Tata has established India's largest animal hospital in Mumbai. Ratan Tata's thoughtful approach towards animals, especially dogs, sets an inspiring example for all of us, reminding us to embrace our humanity and show love and respect towards all living beings.

Meet Sandy:

We received Sandy’s video on our helpline asking for help. We knew right away that this poor boy needed urgent help, and his sickness could not be cured on the road.

Our rescue team rescued him right away, and we brought him to our shelter. Even though Sandy was too weak to walk but he definitely was not happy and tried to bite our staff, but can we blame him for that?

Apparently, Sandy didn’t belong to the area he was found in. Which clearly means humans were nasty to him, and they made sure to shoo him away from his area by dirty methods.

It’s our humble request to please be kind to these souls. They can not go to the vet themselves. If you can’t help them, please contact us, and we will provide free treatment for strays in Amritsar.

Sandy needs regular skin treatment, nourished diet, and supplements to make him strong.

Update on Rabby

Rabby was reported to us on our helpline as his ear was swollen and he was crying in pain.
When we received his video on our helpline we know that Rabby was suffering with hematoma and the only cure to that was, his surgery.
Rabby’sfeeder was kind enough to bring him to our shelter for surgery.
Rabby ’s surgery was successfully done and his healing is going really well.

Meet Pathan: Introducing you to Pathan is not our pleasure but at the same time, he needs to be heard. Pakistani bully breed, a pure bred dog who was bought as a puppy, grew up with his family but for some reason when he got paralyzed, they threw him out. Why??????? Why buying a dog and ruining his life like that, how come you didn’t think that it could be you, your kids or family????? How can you sleep peacefully? How can you live with yourself? We really hope his family is reading this and realizes how bad it’s going to be for them and their coming generations. Pathan was paralyzed and thrown away, his misery started when other stray dogs started to attack him and he couldn’t do anything else except being bitten. We have teary eyes and sad hearts telling his story. The reporter noticed him and called us. Even he doesn’t know how long Pathan was there for. When we went to rescue Pathan, it seemed like he had only few breaths left but this strong boy is responding to his treatment now. His favourite meal is treats only for now. We are trying to stabilize him for now and will run his X-rays and other tests soon. Please don’t buy dogs if you can not look after them when they need you. Meet Rudy: Rudy had unfortunately met with an accident some time ago. Although no one witnessed the incident but everyone noticed Rudy's distressed state and the pain he was enduring on the streets as he was unable to use his back legs.😢💔 We received Rudy’s video from 3 different reporters for help, which tells us that people are noticing these voiceless souls and trying to help them even if it’s through us. First attempt was failed in rescuing Rudy as he managed to hide himself when our team was there but his reporter made an effort next day and lured Rudy inside his house so we can pick him up without wasting any more time. We provided pain management to Rudy, but we need to diagnose the right point of his injuries. Please send some love for Rudy. Meet Milton: Milton depicts a true picture of a stray dog in India; forgotten, unnoticed, injured, and ignored.😢 Milton is rescued from Majitha Road after a passerby saw him in a distressed condition. He found us on google and reached out to us. After we saw Milton’s condition, we immediately dispatched our rescue team. Severe old injuries in his both front legs left Milton completely paralyzed. 💔 To soothe his big wound infested with maggots, poor hungry Milton dragged himself to a dirty puddle besides the garbage with the hope of finding food scraps and water. Our hearts are full of sadness to see Milton’s condition, and we promise him that from now on, he will get nothing but the best. 🐾 To give him the best life that he deserves, we need your help and support. Meet Chance: Chance, hardly 1.5 years old, was brought to us by two guys from a nearby village after they saw him dragging himself on his broken hind legs. Upon further enquiry, we found out Chance’s family got a surgery done a couple of months ago on his legs, but when he still couldn’t walk; they threw him out of their house and left him to die what they call a “natural” death. This is not a natural death!!!!!! You are making your pet suffer and die in a most brutal way. Why bother buying breeds, if you can’t take care of them??? What is this “Breed Craze” in India when so many of your own indie dogs are suffering on the streets? Chance is our permanent member now and will stay with us for rest of his life. Meet Lucky: The worst thing one can do in life is, to abandon an animal who trusted you fully. Lucky is an abandoned dog who was mistaken for a breed dog and when his family found out after he grew up a little, that he has Indian mix in him, he was thrown out of his home. These incidents leave us speechless, we want to write so much and express our anger and sadness but we have to be civil on our social media. Living on the streets, Lucky learned to survive and one kind person started to feed him. Lucky lost vision in his one eye and the he could not see from another one. As a result, he started to bump into things and hurt himself. The kind hearted lady brought Lucky to us all the way from Beas, Punjab and said that we are the only ones who can help Lucky. When someone walks into our shelter with a hope, we can not say “no”.Lucky’s treatment is on with the help of our vet’s prescription.
