The second business we would like to thank and promote is Algoma Web Design & Hosting Services. Barb is creating and designing a website for us and we cannot even begin to put into words how big this is. The six of us who run this organization can likely put our website knowledge together and be just dangerous enough to really mess it up.

So Barb is graciously doing this for us. And we are incredibly grateful for her. Barb is incredibly easy to work with, extremely responsive and very patient with our limited knowledge.

We look forward to being able to announce our website in the near future. And while it will be a constant work in progress, we know it will go far in helping us to help the stray animals of Kewaunee County.

Love community cats or hate them? = Just fix them!!

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the SOLUTION!!!!

❤️ LOVE community cats? ...
You can help the cats in your neighborhood by TNRing them. Spaying a female cat means she won't go into heat, get pregnant, and birth kittens outdoors. Spayed females won’t attract new male cats to your neighborhood.

When you get a male cat neutered, you’ll be making his life MUCH easier. No more fighting over female cats or stinky spraying to mark their territory. And fewer cat fights keep diseases like FIV from spreading.

🚫 HATE community cats?
Removing cats from your neighborhood is NOT an effective solution because it creates the “vacuum effect” meaning new cats will move in to start the cycle of reproduction all over again. But when you get the cats fixed and RETURN them to your neighborhood, the cats will no longer be reproducing and less new cats will move in.

TNR means less odor, less noise, and fewer cats being born. 👍👍👍

A big GIGANTIC thank you to Ahnapee Brewery, Taco Tone, all of our Volunteers, and Police Chief David Allen & team for making Saturday's event even possible and assisting in making it happen.

And especially to you, the community, who once again stepped up above and beyond to help save homeless cats/dogs and provide so many pet food donations to keep pets home with their loved ones.

Ahnapee Brewery alone provided 250 lbs of food!!! They also collected a hefty sum of donation dollars that people gave to them before the event! How sweet is that?!

We are ever amazed by the contined support & kindness of the good people of Kewaunee County.
