We encourage everyone to visit Prevent Pet Suffocation! It's really opened our eyes to the risk of suffocation that chip bags and other food waste products posed to our pets. The stories are heartbreaking! A tiny bit of extra effort when disposing of food waste products can be life-saving for the pets we love.

A Cause for Paws, Kewaunee County would like to extend a great big thank you to everyone who has supported this mission.
The community has been absolutely amazing.
Thank you to Julie, Suzie, Rachel, Gina and Peggy for all the hard work to get where we are and also Mary, Khia, Ashley, Paula, Tani and Audrey for all your hard work, we wouldn’t be where we are.
Thank you to JW’s for hosting the fundraiser, Terry for being the DJ and to all the volunteers and everyone who donated items and cash
The fundraiser raised $4500.00 to help the homeless animals of Kewaunee County.
A Cause for Paws spoke to the City of Kewaunee council in the open forum, hopefully they will agree to a contract with Wisconsin Humane Society.
Next up is Luxemburg then Casco.
Thank you City of Algoma council members and the committees for listening to our cause and for signing a contract with WHS.

Kewaunee friends please keep your eyes open for him.
Check sheds, garages and anywhere you can think of. Need to get this guy home to his family.

We know it is windy out today and Kewaunee County got extra snow overnight. But we hope you can still make it today.

Hwy 54 and County Road E are both relatively clear and in good winter driving conditions. Do take your time on the curves but otherwise, it is typical winter driving in Wisconsin.

Today is our big fundraising event. We hope to see you at JW’s from 11 to 3.

We will have a huge selection of baskets in the basket raffle (more than 70 baskets!), 50/50 raffle, a few special raffle items and t-shirts for sale. There will be a DJ plus food and drink for purchase. And we will be holding the drawing for our cash raffle tickets that we’ve been selling since November - top prize of $1,000.

We have baskets for the dog people too!! 🐕🐩🐾🦴
