"As many of you know, we have been forced to come to terms with the fact that our beloved Karla would be moving out of the area for the past year. We are sad to announce the time has come. This Friday the 7th will be Karla's (aka "Sunshine" aka "the lady with the flower in her hair") last day of work at Island Hammock. Karla has brought so much positivity, love and compassion to IHPH for the past 8 years, making countless friends- human and animal alike- along the way. This Thursday the 6th and Friday the 7th are your last chance to stop by and wish her farewell. Karla's presence will be missed by all who knew her, but we are so happy for her as she moves on to the next chapter in her life.
