Fun beehive removal today in Stock Island, nice size hive, #savethebees
The last removal I did at Islander Village on Stock Island, nice hive that was there about a month.
Here is removal #4 at Islander Village on Stock Island, this was the mother-hive for sure, it was about four and a half feet long and about a foot wide. These bees were honey making machines, with a total of forty pounds of honey harvested.
Beehive removal number three at Islander Village on Stock Island.
Beehive removal number two on Stock Island’s Islander Village Community.
We have been busy as a bee this week, beehive removal number one on Little Torch Key.
What I think is a Broadwing Hawk eating an iguana, they must taste like chicken, because that hawk did not care that there were a lot of people around, scooters, golf carts. It was focused on its prey. Beautiful bird.
Close-up of the vacuuming process, I wasn’t able to take any more video after this, because of all the bees that I had to deal with, they were quickly trying to scoop up as much honey as they could, can’t wait to process the Honey and show it to you all.
The big reveal, nice size hive. The bees have been hard at work for about 6 months. Beautiful coloration in the comb. The majority off this hive was honey. Thousands of bees that are good honey producers, a beekeepers dream.
