Monroe County Sheriff's Office Animal Farm Non-Profit animal sanctuary started in 1994. When they arrive here, they are home. It is free of charge and donations are appreciated.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office Animal Farm is home to approximately 150 animals. We provide a haven for animals which have been abandoned, abused, confiscated or donated. The farm is open the second and fourth Sundays each month from 1 - 3 pm, and is free of charge to the public. Bring the family and come visit the animals at the farm, including horses, Zebu, pigs, goats, sheep, bunnies, allig

ators, tropical birds, kinkajou, Lemurs, Kramer the Emu, Jack the ostrich, tortoises and turtles, snakes and many more. The farm is located just off of College Road, on Stock Island, at the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters complex. Community and school groups may schedule special tours at the farm by calling Farmer Jeanne Selander at 305-293-7300. (note: private tours for the general public are not available)
