Lately, I have been sharing my breakfast of oatmeal and oat milk no sugar with sweet Mr. Peaches who you can see has already eaten all the solids and is now lapping up the milk with gusto!

WORLD PARROT DAY MAY 31, 2024. Today I am celebrating the 350 species of parrots living on Planet Earth, some are struggling to survive. I am celebrating all the humans that are working tirelessly to guard them from going extinct. Being a caregiver at my sanctuary for rehomed hookbills for the last 30 years has been the best time of my life and this bird connection has brought me treasured human and parrot friends, We are a rare breed, we devotees of parrots.
