Elvis has made himself a friend. He loves Drama ❤️🙌🏻

Rattlesnake ranch has a few more hooves stomping around. Welcome Dezzy and Drama! Elvis loves his girls already!
Elvis is becoming a lover of little humans
The plan is to give him a year before riding due to his abuse and trauma under saddle
I also have an upcoming planned pregnancy (surrogacy) that I can’t risk getting hurt with.
In the mean time. Ground work it is ❤️🙌🏻
#rattlesnakeranch #elvis #twh maybe this is how horses and animals should live ❤️💕
Oh Elvis; you’re going to be ok. No one is going to hurt you again. Welcome to the boujie life ❤️✌️
When you take in an older, abused horse, you have to figure out some of their trauma and triggers.
We are very thankful Elvis has decent ground manners and is patient with our littlest.

As a kid, I hated ground work.
As an adult, I know how important it is; especially with a rescue horse with trauma.
I’m so proud of this little girl.
A horse she can’t ride; that’s not even close. And she still shows up everyday to put in the hard hours that aren’t “exciting”
This is natural horsemanship
This is hard work
And I couldn’t be more proud of my kids ❤️
They are putting in the time to FIX what an “adult” “trainer” broke

Nick and I both have a heart for the rejected and forgotten. It’s only fitting that Elvis, a rescued Tennessee Walking Horse is the first horse on the ranch. This was Elvis about 6 months ago.
Follow for updates on Elvis and his recovery!
It’s been our dream to have our own ranch. Nick and I both grew up with horses, we also both have a heart for the rejects and the rescues. It’s only fitting that the first horse on the ranch, is also a rescue. This was Elvis, 6 months ago. Thank you Kayla Lynn Lugo for trusting us with the rest of his recovery.
