We got our first peafowl egg today!~ Always an exciting spring event! I'm letting the bantam cochin hens (previous picture) set this one and the next few. They've already said 'no problem!". If you aren't on our peachick waiting list, but want to be, let me know! Chicks start at $35 at one week of age, unsexed.

We have one 1-yr old Bielefelder laying hen and 4 Bielefelder pullets hatched early summer 2016 for $50 each firm. We also have 1 1-yr old Bielefelder rooster and 5 cockerels hatched mid summer for $25 each, firm. Bielefelders are gorgeous, large auto-sex chickens. (You can tell the difference between females and males at hatching). The hens are good layers of very large medium brown rosy eggs. They are a good dual purpose breed, very hardy and very gentle! My breeding stock came as chicks or eggs from several different breeders around the country, one of which got theirs directly from Greenfire Farms. My birds are vaccinated for Marek's at a day of age and are dewormed every 4-6 weeks. I had planned to keep these pullets as next year's breeders but am scaling back on my birds and letting them go. All prices are FIRM with no multiple discounts. This is a GREAT DEAL on this breed! First come, first serve.

We have 5 Welsummer hens (1 is 1 yr old and laying, 4 are pullets hatched early summer) for $20 each firm. Will throw in the cockerel (hatched this summer) if you buy all 3 or more hens, or sell him for $10. All birds were vaccinated for Marek's at a day of age and are dewormed every 4-6 weeks. Welsummers lay large medium to dark brown speckled eggs and are quiet, easy keepers!

This week we sold 3 peachicks to a family who had purchased two last year. By chance they got a boy and a girl, 'Hansel' and 'Gretyl'. Poor Gretyl was taken by a hawk a couple months ago and Hansel has been so lonely. When the pea babies were put into the brooder at their new home, Hansel heard their little peeps and scurried over to the brooder. His family says he loves his baby cousins and hangs out near them and talks to them and seems very happy with the new additions! Notice him in this picture first checking out his new best friends!

Peachicks are India Blue and Black Shoulder, some will be split to purple, white, cameo and other colors (There is no way of knowing which is which). They are sold unsexed and are $45 each, firm.

We still have grass fed Hereford and Black Baldie heifers, bulls and steers for sale ranging from weaning age up to 18+ months old.

We do not have any hay for sale right now. We hope to bale more soon to sell.
