Good afternoon everyone. Last night as everyone was returning from prom, a family close to us was hit by tragedy. A friend of our youngest lost their house and their animals in a fire here in Copperas Cove. One small dog and the family are safe, but they lost everything. With two infants under 2, and two teen girls, you can imagine their needs. For the next few weeks we will be collecting diapers and infant girls clothing. We don’t dare try to dress teen girls, but will be getting them set up with all their needs as well. Their dad has asked the community to please focus on the kids at this time.

If you have any infant girl/neutral clothing, baby items 2T and 3T, or size 3 diapers that you are willing to donate, we would love to take it off your hands and get it to them. There is also a drop off location at Village Pizza here in Copperas Cove.

There was no homeowners insurance, so for the time being the best thing we can do is provide in this way as a plan is formed.
